I used to love going to Vegas and have been there many times in the past. However, I hadn't been for a few years and went back recently and it seems to have changed for the worse.

All the slots are now electronic, supposedly for OUR benefit and speedier play, but who wants to haul a bunch of tickets around. I miss my big cup of dollars and the way it sounds when those puppies came flying out of the slot.

It also seemed like the food and drink specials weren't as abundant as they used to be and the The Hotel wasn't that cheap either like in the past.

Has anyone else noticed this or am I imagining it?

I finally got a brother to understand. Our father died he had 5 kids and a wife of 7mo. Her name was not on anything. So why do she get anything. We are trying to figure this stuff out. Before we try and get a lawyer. It will be split between all of us.

Installing aftermarket rims and want to be sure the Low Pressure Light dosent drive me crazy on the dash. I looked into just removing the bulb but the gauge cluster is located so that I would have to pull out the whole dash. Is there a control box I can unplug? I have no interest in swapping out the TPS valve stems into the new rims since if one gets broken they cost $70 to replace. Not to mention the cost of breaking down the stock rims and tires just to get the sensors out.

I’m a vegan high-schooler and when I go to restaurants with my family I see on their menus that everything or sometimes 99% of their foods they serve has at least one or more animal products in them. The only healthy thing I can order in restaurants is a garden salad and I always have to ask the waitress to not ad any dressing, cheese, or croutons, which that’s how they usually come in. all or almost all the food is high in fats, especially animal fats, cholesterol, sugar, bad carbohydrates, processed foods, and extremely low in fiber. Why can’t restaurants serve more healthy vegan foods that are high in antioxidants and fiber and reduce our health problems. I have never seen fruit salad on a restaurant menu before, and that’s probably the best food you can eat when it comes to taste and health.

How do you know you're one of the 144,000? There are way more than 144,000 JWs. Also, why are the JWs the only ones who are part of the 144,000? Why would 144,000 mean JWs today? What if the 144,000 were people from 2, 3 even 4 centuries ago? Why do you think it's for people today?

Also: By looking at the verses it is obvious that the 144,000 are literal Jews of the ancient tribes with no Gentiles among them (7:4-8). They are all virgin males (14:4). If the JW states that the usage of Jewish male virgins is figurative, what gives them the right to state that number of 144,000 is literal?

I have been thinking of joining the a military for a while. I've heard by alot of people that in the navy you could be out at sea on a ship for at least 6 months. But i was also told by a couple that it depends on what your job is. I have been wanting to do something in the arts (like animation or design) or with animals, so would i be out at sea for 6 months if I did something like that? My girlfriend and i are planning on getting married before i begin basics and dont like the idea that much of me having to leave my girlfriend/future bride for 6 months.

I am about 37 weeks along and my doc told me that my baby was in breach position. She told me that she could try to turn her around, but that it only had a 50% chance of doing so, and there was a risk of rupturing the placenta and having to go into an emergency c-section. This is all just so I could deliver vaginally.
On the other hand, she also said that I could just go ahead and schedule a c-section a week before my due date and deliver her that way.
I was wondering what would be the point of turning her around and going through all that risk just to deliver vaginally? I am leaning towards scheduling a c-section because it seems like a simple and safe procedure whereas the turning thing seems kinda risky. I only have about a week to decide what I am going to do. Any insight?

I have asked similar questions before, but the closer we get to our move, the more nervous I get.

My family and I are moving to SLC in September. We are pagan and artsy, borderline neo hippie, lol. He is going to college for massage therapy and I work from home as a tarot reader. Our son will be home schooled.

I don't have a problem with Mormons, my husband was raised Mormon and excommunicated himself when he was 16. But I have been told they may have a problem with us. I keep hoping this isn't the case, but from what I have been told, I am nervous.

Can someone tell me what to expect? Where are more liberal places to live? Any other advice would be nice :) Thanks!

I am starting to wonder if my fear of being alone is trapping me in an unhealthy relationship. I know the relationship is bad for both of us. But I keep teeling myself, and she seems to tell herself, we can fix it because we love each other. But I just keep feeling pain, and that I am causing pain. I was driving and my licensed is suspended (wrong I know), however my tag is completely legal, but a policeman was behind me and randomly ran my tag, now I did nothing wrong for him to run my tag, he says he was justing randomly running it. Doesn't he have to have a reason to do so? Can he just pick someone out of the crowd and run their tags and pull them over without provocation?
