Is THIS what you are trying to raise?

"The adult moth has a wingspan of about 70mm and marked in shades of pink and light brown. It feeds in the evening on nectar from honeysukles and petunias. The main food plants of the caterpillar are Willowherbs. So perhaps it should be with the FRIENDS of the garden as anything which reduces these detestable weeds can only be welcomed."

WOW, that is a REALLY cool caterpillar, as well as a colorful moth! Don't let that larva die...go to a plant nursery if you have to. It's not everyday you see caterpillars like this. Willowherbs seems to be their hostplant.

I really like to raise caterpillars myself. We don't have that kind of caterpillar where I live. I NEVER see any really big ones, though, except for a buck moth caterpillar that I'm raising. Really nice, though.
