I recentley bought a pair of new trainers. The make is Evisu. (the company is named after a buddhist god- Evis). When i was buying the trainers i had no idea what Evisu was. I am a Christian and i want to know is it ok for me to wear the trainers even though they are made from a company named after a buddhist god.

I have been talking to ..sort of dating a guy for the last 3 months.. he has been married and is recently divorced. His ex-wife still lives with him. He says it is so she can finish school, but they got divorced becuase she cheated. He claims there is nothing between the two of them anymore but it all seems odd to me. What would you do??

I just upgraded my system (while shutting down) for Windows XP, it had two system upgrades apparently. And when I went to check on it to see if it was shut down correctly, it had a black screen asking me to try starting Windows in Safe Mode:

Safe Mode
Safe Mode for Networking
Safe Mode with Prompt

Look for last known good configuration

Start Windows Normally

All of those options would reboot my system and bring me back to that black startup screen. I tried going into BIOS and reset defaults, but that didn't help. I don't think this is a virus, (because the problems coincided with upgrade) but on the off chance it is, can anyone help me with this issue?

I watched a documentary on the KKK today and they were doing this in the US and also 'Jesus Camp'Do you think it is a good idea to create this sub cultures? why am I in love with the wrong guy when he doesn't even belong to me and says that he loves and he's with another girl wich she's pregnet of him. But I just can't get him out my head everywhere I go he's there. I have these feelings when I see him I feel to be with him but I can't, but at the same time I feel like don't be with him. Why should Muslims have to answer for what a tiny minority of people (who are of the Islamic religion) are doing for their own twisted reasons?

That would be like asking every Christian in the world to rise up and answer for what the KKK or the IRA or the ETA does in their country.

The Bible is full of verses exhorting the "believers" to kill the enemies of God. The Crusades give an ending proof to Christian violence but nobody is expecting all the Christians to answer for their history and past violence. How many support the present violence ?

Muslims never appointed the Taliban or Alqaeda as our official representatives so we are not obligated to answer for their crimes.

If people ignore the rest of the 1.5 billion Muslims and blame Islam for the actions committed by this tiny minority then they are only looking to malign Islam and they will not easily find Muslims to join in on their smear campaign.

I'm upset about two things. First, that it happened, and, second, that the church hierarchy covered it up. I'd like to see a few cardinals and bishops end up behind bars if they knowingly protected sexual predators. Things must have been pretty bad, because the diocese finally paid a ton of dough to get it resolved.

Two of my friends are joining SCA and we are looking for books that give some sample ideas, lots of pictures, to help limit our time period. We want relatively historically accurate (no zippers but i'm not measuring stitchings for my buttonholes either) but I am willing to have a few modern alterations.

You create a character so I'd need a couple books that reference the location that garb would have been worn. Thats what I'm having the hardest time with. Are there books just by location?

Pictures of clothing worn between AD 900 and AD 1600--however a really good *detailed* book that only had 1200-1300 or 1400-1600 would be better.

Seamstresses that make historical costumes or other members of SCA, LARP, reenactment groups--Please give your favorite reference book.
