I know by law the guy can go to jail. But I'm talking about "real life" here. What do they actually do? Does the guy actually goes to jail if the parents don't report it or what?

I do laundry all the time, and my electric bill is getting pretty high. A couple of people told me there are certain times of the day to do laundry. Some told me in the afternoon between 12 pm and 4pm and some have told me at night. What do you recommend?

I've never been spanked by my parents. But a few days ago, I was at my friends house. Her little sister, who is 13, was being a brat, so her mom gave her a spanking with a wooden spoon. I have heard over and over that the police are horrible people and they are nothing but criminals that have not been caught. I find that impossible to believe, and I am curious to find out why people do not like them. I am not looking for dumb answers such as "They are bullies." or 'They harrassed me." I am looking for a real reason, one that is thought out and articulate. Give the whole story...not just the police response.

I entered Emergency room 3 times each 2 day's apart. Was released all three times with advice to take Tylenol advil. To make a long story short, I ended up in another hospital under the advice of friends & family. Was in for 2 weeks for heart surgery. I was in a similar situation 11 years ago. Decided not to do anything. Enough is enough
Any thoughts?
