Don't tell the poor people who Democrats have so artfully deceived, but the real purpose of left-wing politics is to keep large groups poor and angry so they will vote for Democrats who accuse Republicans of being the ones who keep people poor. Democrat social programs give people just enough to get them hooked on the program, and never teach them how to attain the skills that will enable them to rise above the poverty that Democrats love to use as a tool to attain power for themselves.
An example of this is a quote from President Johnson when he signed a civil rights act, "with the passage of this act we Democrats will have the ni**er vote for the next hundred years".
Notice Johnson didn't say anyone other than his Democrat party would be helped. His motivation was to make it appear like he was helping, but to him they were all still ni**ers...

There have certainly been cases where a political movement has fulfilled it's objectives, but kept on going, either focusing on maintaining the gains, or, more often, finding new causes to crusade for. In fact, I'd say it's the norm.

There would be no use for jobs or investments or
people bettering themselves. Why bother? The
Democrats want to give everyone, everything.
Foodstamps, Welfare, why work? There will be
no need for any party. We will all be at a party
with the gov. picking up the tab. In my opinion
Liberalism is the way to go. Vote for Joe from Connecticut

Barry, darling, Hitler was not a left winger and neither are todays Democrats. Here's news for you. We don't have any left wingers in the Democratic party or in government today. Look up who the Democrats take money from and tell me if any of those Fortune 500 companies and CEO's are leftists. Do you really think corporations are stupid enough to invest in a left winger? Geesuz, will you cons please go educate yourselves.
