Sorry if this question has been asked before but I bought a Amex (American Express) Gift card and it seems it doesn't work with paypal (did the customer service call and everything), So I was wondering if i can use this gift card to buy a visa gift card with an added 4 dollars to purchase.

you should be able to no problem but cant say for sure. amex is a company that requires high FICO scores to obtain one. that being said that leaves out a lot of people. which in turn means not alot have it and a small amount of merchants accept it.

I'm sure that you can buy a VISA gift card, but if I'm not mistaken the Visa issuer will charge you a fee to issue that gift card too. Doesn't seem worth it if you ask me. You could buy a gift card from Macy's or Target (or some other retailer) perhaps and avoid another fee, but that doesn't solve your paypal situation i guess. Seems like you are paying a lot for the privilege of using paypal.
