Think about it...

Certainly feminism has changed course from it's original intent in some ways. However, if we truly treated them as equals would there be a need to have a movement like that?

Certainly our personalities are suited for different roles. Of course there are exceptions to that rule but really are they inferior? I don't think so. I know very smart business women and I know very kind and nurturing housewives. They run the gamut. Some work because they have to do, some do it because they want to.

Is one role inferior to another? Of course not. It all works together in harmony.

Men get all hyped up about feminism but really all women want, in general, is to be respected for the person they are.

They just want to be heard, appreciated, and loved. So why not give them that?

There is something very special and spiritual about them, don't you agree?

Poem

Hopeless Romantic

Theres no need for you to notice

I'll still wait for you here in silence

I don't mind if you don't care

But I'll still try to make the doorway sympathetic and have you there when I open it again

It's okay if you just think of me as another friend

Still the window might be nice and let me glimpse you one last time

I'm okay with a distance but I'm still hoping the mirror will show me with you

I can try to ignore you

But I'll still wish that this time my blurry eyes will show you at my doorstep

Maybe you don't care

I'll still try to fight the dark with visions of your face

Fight it all you want

But I'll still wait with all my heart

And why

Basically my mom and dad stay mad at each other and constantly take it out on us, their children. Sometime I wish they would just hurry up and get a divorce already because at least I won't have to endure this stupidity. This last incident really took the cake for me. My mom got mad at my dad about not helping out in the house but cutting the grass for someone else. She took it out on us. Then my dad got mad at my sister for not cooking but started yelling at me telling to shut the **** up and leave if you want to. I hate your nasty attitude. Now there was no way this was about me because I couldn't cook that day (I am severely allergic to fish and it was not my turn to cook)

So now no one is speaking to each other and he walks around like I should be the first to apologize. I mean I am know I am his child and I am living in his house (which is not an excuse for respect) but don't parents need to be taught a lesson to, or is it assumed I should apologize for his own anger?

If the Greek word apo, translated "from" in 2Th 1:9, is interpreted to denote separation, as it often is interpreted to mean, then do you not see Rev 14:10 as a contradiction to that verse? If they do contradict, is it safe to assume that apo did not refer to separation, but a source (i.e. "from" meaning the punishment is produced by God, "from God"), which, in turn, renders the contradiction void?

Eastern Orthodox Christians see punishment happening in the presence of God, harmonizing with Rev 14:10, but with the popular interpretation of 2Th 1:9, others see the punishment as including separation from God.

How can we reconcile these differences and apparent contradictions?

...that there was a thriving civilization living in the abandoned tunnels of major cities like new york, that somehow managed to live completely cut off from the surface world, would you be willing to go into the abandoned tunnels and look for them? If so, what would u ask them once you found them? What would you tell them about the surface world that they may not know?

Believe it or not, I would want to go. I think it'd be an amazing adventure. Just think: if that really happened their culture would be so radically different from ours. It'd be amazing. Yeah I know they might be hostile and dangerous, but screw it: "It is impossible to live if you are scared of dying."

Ok please nobody report this: I'm not on some mindless ramble I legitimately want to know you guys' opinion

my mother loves this flower bouquet she bought at the grocery store a week ago,
she liked it so much that she got another bouquet today.
she doesn't know what the name of the flower is, however.
they come in different shades of purple and they're in clusters,
somewhat like a hollyhock or a snap dragon,
and they are very fragrant.
i tried to find a picture of the flower of the internet but couldn't find any.
if you understand what flower i'm talking about,
please help♥

I have noticed a somewhat disturbing trend lately - there are more and more women serving as scout leaders for the Boy Scouts. Are men no longer interested in doing these kinds of things for our youth? I firmly believe that women can do anything men can do . . . but this is ridiculous! There is no way that we would let men be Girl Scout leaders . . . we'd call them child molesters and perverts! Seriously . . . WTF?

generally speaking rising prices are bad, inflation and we have the Bank of England raising interest rates. However it seems that housing inflation is good for us.Who really benefits from this since even the benificiaries of this rise need someplace to live?.
