Below is a link to a film on Google Video which shows the Swindle, and after each argument made in the film, a scientist from Edinburgh explains what was correct and what was incorrect about that argument.

Global warming skeptics are often complaining that those of us who accept anthropogenic global warming are unwilling to examine their evidence. Are you willing to examine ours?

Of course you would get attached to things with sentimental value but I am talking about things that really don't have a sentimental value. Things that can be replaced.

Would rather just change everyone else according to our view? Isn't that want most people dislike about religions that try to convert someone?

Isn't that truly self-centered and naricistic?

Changing yourself is a sacrifice.

I'm dating a Jew and I'm not Jewish. Things are going amazingly well, except for one issue. I should preface this by telling you that I think I may marry him, and without this issue I most certainly would. He wants his kids to be Jewish, and I want to introduce both religions. He doesn't want me to convert because I have some Jewish heritage, but was raised Catholic. I want to hear from other people who have done this and how hard it is, because most likely i'll be raising Jewish kids for him. He's willing to do holiday celebrations with my family, and compromise on other things not related to religion if I do this for him. I understand why he feels this way because its been explained to me by many Jews... i just feel like i'll be losing part of myself that under other circumstances I would give to my children.

my cat is 21 years old,he is in good health generally but has started going to the toilet everywhere.Luckily he spends most of his life asleep in the garden, but leaves really stinky little poos all over the place,they are hard to clear up because they are so squidgy and gloopy,they also stink the whole garden out!
In addition he is constantly hungry, meowing outside at 4 in the morning,but will only eat those little foil packets of food.
what to do? he has been wwith me for a long time ,out lived a brother cat ,two dogs, one marriage and is the only pet to my three young children under 7.

Anybody else had a similar problem,how did you solve it
