Hey there!

Here's the answer.

5sqrt(5)-sqrt(20) -->
5sqrt(5)-sqrt(5)*sqrt(4) -->
5sqrt(5)-2sqrt(5) -->
3sqrt(5)

So the answer is 3sqrt(5).

Hope it helps!

since srt 20 is srt (4*5), this is
5 srt 5 - srt(4*5), or
5 srt 5 - srt(4)*srt(5), or
5 srt 5 - 2 srt(54), or
3 srt 5

so the trick here is to recognize that 20=4*5=2*2*5
so sqrt(20)=sqrt(2*2*5)=2sqrt(5)
so 5sqrt(5)-sqrt(20)=5sqrt(5)-2sqrt(5)=3sqrt(5)
