if working alon, Phil can complete a job in R hours and henry can complete the same job in S hours, how many hours would it take them to complete the job TOGETHER?

my fiance and i are wiccan and we are getting married next july. we are having a wiccan ceremony. my fiance's cousin is devout lutheran. a little background first. before the cousin got married, her mother in law would not allow the marriage unless she (the cousin) agreed not to let their future kids celebrate halloween. so, with that in mind, do we need to tell the cousin upfront that we are having a wiccan ceremony or not. if so, how? fyi, we were also told that she would not attend if there wasnt going to be a minister present (which there is).

They're holding cheerleading tryouts in September and I want to be prepared. The competition is sort of tough. It's performanced based as well, and the squad goes to competition every spring. What should I do to prepare? I really, really want to make the squad!

Ok, so my boyfriend from Japan is coming to visit me this August. He bought his ticket some months ago and was not able to reserve his seat ahead of time (dunno why). Now when he called the travel agent, the agent said that all the seats were occupied on the online map, but that he'd be guaranteed a seat at check-in. How is this possible?
This is a flight from Osaka-Kansai to San Francisco. Is he on Stand-by or what? Any experienced airport employees know?
Is it possible they may bump him to business class or something? I just want him to arrive so I can see him...
BTW that's the ONLY flight departing to San Francisco.

I have a latitude d600 and the CPU temp is 45 degrees C and the hard drive is is also 45 degrees. I'm running a program called I8kfanGUI which lets you control the fans. I turned the fan to high which lowered the temp of the CPU but not the hard drive. Does anyone have any suggestions on a way to lower the temp of the hard drive?

everything about astrophysics and related disciplines talk about rocks and explosions and fire and matter shifting from e to m etc. gas and rocks at various stages of convergence or whatever. the magnetism and convergence and the heating and cooling of rocks. but all that has to fit in the box of space. they say there iss no edges to space and no center -- by abstruse arguable and mathematics based on the suppositions of "great thinkers" like hawkins and einstein, not to mention planck, maxell eetc. etc. Never have i heard one of the profs i sat in and monitor back i college or watching nova shows are talking to anyone ever talk to me about the space. endless (?) black space. infinite space. if you cannot measure it, how can you prove it is infinite. a tadpole in lake michigan may think the lake is infinite. it is not. i cannot think of anything but math theory that describes things as infinite. it is like in "planet of the apes." futile speculaton and verboten.

I have been dating this guy for two years. We have agreed that we are exclusively dating, but because his work has taken him several hours away from me, we only get to see each other a couple of times a month. Recently, when he was at my house, he checked his e-mail and left it logged in. Well, like a sneaky little idiot, I looked over his messages. I found a few from this girl he had been talking to, and apparently they had been out for coffee and dinner a time or two. One of the messages she sent asked if he had a girlfriend, and he said no. We have agreed that it is okay for us to have and hang out with friends of the opposite sex, just no intimacy with anyone else. I just am a little insecure of the fact that he has told her he does not have a girlfriend. If I ask him about it, he will know that I read his mail. If I e-mail her about it and tell her he does have a girlfriend, she might tell him. What should I do?

ok.. my prob is my german shepherd barks at other dogs he doesn't know (those that pass by).. i think he was traumatized by the attack he got 2 months ago.. that's why he's trying to attack first before the other attacks him.

on the other hand i was thinking... he's just 5 months old and get over these on the long run...

however... we have another dog coming up... a shih tzu... i was wondering what could happen if my dog sees a new dog in the house, thinking of it's current behaviour towards other dogs. moreover, a shih tzu is very small... i was thinking of the small dog. she might also gain trauma, if my shepherd would bark at her all the time.

HOW CAN I STOP MY SHEPHERDS BEHAVIOR????
