It was both. Doug Brien choked after the first kick so they shouldve put in a backup .

From me as a Saints person, I blame Herman Edwards, everyone on offense, and the kicker. If the jets had beaten the rams in overtime in the last game of the season after the saints had beaten the panthers, the saints would've been in the wildcard. Better yet, since the were a superior AFC team playin' against not so good if good NFC team they've should've blown the rams out of the game.

The New York Jets. No one player losses a game. Football is a team sport. Ther are so many chances to win and lose a game you can't blame one guy or even two. If the tackle had held his block a second longer the QB might have hit that post pattern. If the guard hadn't go caught holding the team could have kept the drive alive and scored. Get my point.

Scheduling can't be used for any team's excuse for losing a game. Good teams are prepared for any scheduling problems. What excuse do you have for the Jets getting slaughtered last Sunday by the Patriots at home with first place up for grabs in the AFC East? They had 8 days to rest for that game.

doug brien lost it. it's never the coaches fault for trusting his kicker. brien gets paid to kick, he missed, his fault. get over it, it's 2007. i did (those bastards beat the chargers).
