I don't know if there's a scientifically accurate survey out there for that. But the percentage is probably pretty high. Usually by the time the parents tell their kids about a pending divorce it's pretty far along. Most parents would not dump that burden on their children unless it was necessary.

hardly any i'm sure. i think it depends on the number of times they say it. if only 1 or 2 times, its probably just due to a problem that will one day be resolved.
