Yes, in a move to promote brotherhood among all Christians by declaring all other christian churches "wounded," the Pope asserted his authority over all Christians. You guys don't mind do you? Being subject to the new Pope's good judgement? Thanks.

For those who speak more than one language know the difficulties in translating some words for they do NOT translate. Would it make more sense to learn the original language of a spiritual tradition or religion than to read the one that has been translated several times? Does anyone find it scary that modern man is making their own commentaries/remixes on them and then tell their children it is the same thing?

I keep hearing that scientists in the 1970's predicted an ice age and now these same scientists are predicting global warming. Can anybody name one scientist that said this. The thing from 70's came from a newsweek article that actually misquoted a scientific journal. Scientists were not predicting an ice age, Newsweek did.

I swear, if you don't answer N.E. Patriots to every football question or relate it to Tom Brady, you will get either a million thumbs down or a lot of trash talking. If you do relate it to them, you get the best answer? What's the dill pickles?

I love football (Da Bears) just as much as the next person and winning three superbowls in one decade doesn't make you the best QB ever in history or the best team in NFL history. No one is going to tell me that Brady is better than Unitas and Montana.

For the record, (since I noted to be a Bears fan), you can down Rex Grossman until the sun comes up and say our special teams scored more points, if it wasn't for the defense... blah blah blah. Facts don't lie, we still made it to the superbowl and were the NFC divisional champs for two years in a row. We can't help the division we're in, so don't use that lame arguement either. (My rant)

Just curious, Pats fans, why all the aggression?

Conservative give credit to our 'fee market' for everything right with the economy. Liberals blaim everything wrong, on the 'free market'. The U.S. hasn't had a free market since before the 1920's. Every legit' enomomist will tell you we have a mixed economy. Somewhere close to socialist-like. Why don't people listen to the economists instead of politicians?

If she is found alive will she just be given back to her parents? or will social services take her into care?

This is just a thought that came into my head while reading some of the many Maddy questions on here. Everyone wants to see her back alive and well, but what happens then? do they just hand her back to the people that caused this or what??

For the record, I don't hate Kate and Gerry, I don't care either way about them. I do know that if it was some else's child they probably wouldn't get them back with out a fight once the had been found.

Your thoughts on this.......

I attended this interview. The interview was BAD. All my answers sucked!
I am an artist. The interviewer did appreciate a few ideas. He also asked me to leave my CD and asked me to get back to him 3 days later. When I called him 3 days later, he asked me to SMS my number and postponed it indefinitely. It's been a week since that. The CD is still with him

The company is BIG and the guy is a hot shot. But am I really wasting my time....considering he still hasn't called me or shall I be positive..considering he could have refused it a week ago, if it really was THAT BAD?

What's your experience/take on this?

A man took his wife to the rodeo and one of their first stops was the Breeding bull exhibit. They went up to the first pen and there was a Sign attached that said, "This bull mated 52 times last year." The wife Playfully nudged her husband in the ribs and said, "See ... He mated 52 times last year? ....once-a-week."
They walked to the second pen which had a sign attached that said, "This bull mated 125 times last year." The wife gave her husband a healthy jab and said, "That's more than Twice a week! You could learn a lot from him." They walked to the third Pen and it had a sign attached that said, in capital letters, "This Bull mated 365 times last year." I posted a sofa & loveseat for sale on the internet. I had a potential buyer coming to see it on 11th. Another woman came to see the set on 10th. She said she wanted both pieces and left me a cash deposit of 1/2 the $$$ and would pick up on 13th. I immediately called the other prospect to cancel her appt. I have new furniture on hold until I sold my set so I also called them and arranged for delivery for the18th. On the 11th, I put the cash deposit from buyer towards my new set. Later that afternoon the buyer calls to tell me her mom bought her a new sofa as a surprise and she can't buy my set. I told her the $$$ was already gone. She said that if I am unable to find a new buyer by Friday night she would pick up the sofa but would not buy the loveseat. If I don't find a buyer, can I insist she still owes me money since we had a contract (her cash deposit constitutes a deal?) or can I insist she take the loveseat since it will be harder for me to sell that piece by itself?

"On CNN's Crossfire on October 20, 2000, Larry Flynt exploded a bombshell: that he has evidence that George W. Bush was "involved in an abortion in Texas" in the early 1970's - when abortions were still illegal."
Larry Flint has been the undoing of a number of Republican lawmakers, such as Vitter. So much for family values.
