whats a mot test...some states have pollution tests ,,most have safety checks...some have none, 50 states and 50 differnt rules!!! no kidding

Each state has a different requirement but non have an MOT test

Having raised this very question with a taxi driver the last time I was in Los Angeles, the answer is (or was at the time) NO!
Furthermore, no taxi driver in that area had to do an equivalent of "the knowledge".
