I swear, if you don't answer N.E. Patriots to every football question or relate it to Tom Brady, you will get either a million thumbs down or a lot of trash talking. If you do relate it to them, you get the best answer? What's the dill pickles?
I love football (Da Bears) just as much as the next person and winning three superbowls in one decade doesn't make you the best QB ever in history or the best team in NFL history. No one is going to tell me that Brady is better than Unitas and Montana.
For the record, (since I noted to be a Bears fan), you can down Rex Grossman until the sun comes up and say our special teams scored more points, if it wasn't for the defense... blah blah blah. Facts don't lie, we still made it to the superbowl and were the NFC divisional champs for two years in a row. We can't help the division we're in, so don't use that lame arguement either. (My rant)
Just curious, Pats fans, why all the aggression?

Pats fans are not so aggressive...Its the Colts fans that really trash talk the Pats...I mean, give me Tom Brady EVERY time over Peyton Manning...Delusional Colts fans think 1 Super Bowl (of which they shouldn't have even been in...They got in because of the refs calls) makes Peyton Manning the best QB in history...Sorry, but Tom Brady is ahead of Peyton Manning...It IS the best archrivalry in the NFL now...No question...Pats vs. Colts...Joe Montana is still the #1 QB of all time...

Pat fans have the right to be Arrogant, Loud, and what ever the want.
I am not from NE ( Go Ravens ) but I do remember when the Colts were in Baltimore the Patriots and the Colts couldn't wait to play each other because they were the only games either could win.
The Pats had been bad for not just years ....but Decades.
The 2 good years they had when they went to the Superbowl they lost.
That area is rich in winning tradition Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins. The only team that wasn't producing was the Pats. ( And Football is America's favorite sport ) So there fans were dying.
As far a comparing Tom Brady to Montana or Unitas. Just look at the stats between the 3. At there ages and at there stages in there Career Brady is better. Brady is 2ND to Manning in TD's and Yards since his career started. The wins vs loses and QB rating.
And that's not just on paper The Super Bowls confirms it.
I am a Raven fan but I am a Football fan 1st. Brady is easy one of the best.
And if anyone "But Colt fans say anything to you....It's jealousy "

Well, let's just see if you are looking for an objective answer or someone to tickle your ears. I am a New Orleans Saints fan. Let me first tell you that Rex Grossman didn't take the Bears to the Superbowl, but the Bears took Rex. It was written in several of the sporting magazines that I read that Chicago had the softest schedule in the entire NFL last year. With that in mind, they won more games in the regular season and thus had homefield advantage throughout the playoffs. This year their schedule is much tougher and they will not win nearly as many games. If they do play in the playoffs, it will be at somebody elses' house. Perhaps they will play the Saints again but it won't be on a frozen field. As for the Patriots, they are a good team that should be respected but just like last year, we found out that the better team does not always advance.

I would take it with a grain of salt, remember this IS the internet. I do appreciate a thumbs up for things that I say, however in regards to a thumbs down, unless it comes with a credible argument against whatever I post as an answer, I usually don't take it too seriously.
In another question that was asked in similar terms of 'If you could handpick the two teams that go to the superbowl, who would you choose? (Throw the rules out the window, same conference doesn't matter)"I responded with the Baltimore Ravens and the Dallas Cowboys. Of course "Baltimore Birds Fan" is going to pick the Ravens, and I wanted to see them beat Dallas because I wanted to see the Ravens beat "America's team" (I understand the label to an extent, but I'm not a big fan of it as an American who roots for a different team).
And I wound up getting a thumbs down from someone who is obviously a Cowboys fan who gave others a thumbs down that picked the Cowboys and Redskins. It just made me smile a little and didn't change my opinion.

pats fans arent aggressive but they think that because they won some superbowls that everyone should be impressed, and brainwashed into thinking that no other team has a shot, philadelphia fans are the most aggressive, the only other fans that come close are the raiders, but the eagles are more than capible, they lost by 3 to a patriots team with adam vinitari, with gramatica, that would have gone a different way, with spikes on the defense now, we can shut down the running game. and its unfair to say that your in a mediocore division and your team has accomplished nothing, look at the patriots division, bills and dolphins, bills lost 3 key players by the way(spikes, fletcher, and mcgahee) and the jets are there only challenge, you have the packers, while on and off, they are still usually a tough team.

Its because they were the door mat for the league for so long. Every body used to beat on the Pats, think about it even the superbowl the made in the 80's was a 40 point blow out by (our BEars). I think they are like the little dork in school that grew up to be a police officer and now can't control the little power they have.
Eyedon'tknow jack- whn you guys find a way to win the NFC North you can talk but you guys haven't even made the wild card round in recent memory. one day you guys will push the old man (FAVRE) into a retirement home and you will make an attempt to catch up to the rest of the league. LOSER

Have you ever been to Boston, it (like Chicago) is a great sports town and they love the Red Sox and Pats. The Pats went out and spent some money this year and look poised to dominate the league. And by the way I am neither a Boston native or Pats fan, I am a Eagles fan.
Da Bears will have trouble this year, Lovie will not be able to stop the self-destruction being brought on by management.

They are just a little cocky, and they have that right. Like you said they did win three Superbowl's in a decade. Hey I'm a Bears fan, and I resect what the Pat's have done.
Do your self a favor and don't let it bother you. Or maore importantly come back at them by saying that Da Bears of 85' are the greatest team if NFL history.

I don't think that getting a thumbs down on a question is aggression. And I don't think Pats fans are any more aggresive than any other true fans. Pats fans do have a lot of passion about their team and love their star QB Brady but I don't think they're any more aggressive than anybody else.

well u cant really relate brady to montana....... yet. this guy won three championships with players who were nobodys and once they left they still were i.e deion branch.also to win three superbowls in 4 years espicially in the salary cap era which did not exist in montanas time tht is quite an accomplishment having players come and go and having to adjust. i think if brady has a great year lets say 4200 yds 27-30 tds 10 ints and win the superbowl and superbowl MVP i think he will surpass montana. because he will have 4 superbowls in 7 years, 3 superbowl mvps and he is always a top 2-3 qb in the regular season and plus montana had great recievers i.e jerry rice and brady had who??? reche caldwell, jabbar gaffney, doug gabriel, david givens david patten who r they???? ull see this year brady will put up his best career #'s and will win mvp.
