For the sunburn, use sunblock, for the skeeter bites, use repellent.
Don't put them on at the sametime, maybe a 1/2 hour apart, sunblock first.

If you're looking for non-chemical to ward off mosquitos, dampen a dryer sheet and rub on your skin. It works for some.
About 80% of skeeter attraction is genetic. They LOVE me!! I smoke outside, live in south Texas, and my legs are covered with bites!! I haven't tried the dryer sheets yet this summer. Guess I need to follow my own advice.
As for sunburn, sunscreen, cover body with sleeves and long pants. Also use a big floppy garden hat to protect your face.
Good Luck!!!

Sunblock and insect repellent? Bullfrog sunblock is the best. It's water resistant and works well. Almost any of the better repellents will stop mosquitoes.

Bullfrog makes a sunscreen that also contains a mosquito repellent, you can use that.

Otherwise, wear pants and a long sleeve shirt when you cut the long.

yep, Make your husband or your kids do it. If they are to lazy then use that skin so soft from avon. I would only try that as a last resort though.
