I attended this interview. The interview was BAD. All my answers sucked!
I am an artist. The interviewer did appreciate a few ideas. He also asked me to leave my CD and asked me to get back to him 3 days later. When I called him 3 days later, he asked me to SMS my number and postponed it indefinitely. It's been a week since that. The CD is still with him

The company is BIG and the guy is a hot shot. But am I really wasting my time....considering he still hasn't called me or shall I be positive..considering he could have refused it a week ago, if it really was THAT BAD?

What's your experience/take on this?

My thought is this: he may well be waiting for YOU to call him to show that you are really interested. If it has been a week, call and find out what is going on or how long you should expect to wait! Being pro-active is going to reflect well on you. Sitting around and waiting to see what happens will only result in someone else being a squeaky wheel getting the job.

Good luck!

Always be positive. How do you know that your answers sucked? You are not the judge of that. The interviewer is. So, it's been a week - big deal. I had one very large outfit contact me eleven months after receiving my application and essentially offered me what would have been a wonderful position if I were a bachelor, which I was when I applied. I was to travel the world as a (classified) liaison. They were very upset when I told them that in the interim I had met and married and therefore was not interested. Another outfit told me that I would hear from them in a week. Three months later I received the offer. That one I accepted.
Always stay positive. A negative attitude eats away at you.

You absolutely be positive & go get what you want, be it the CD or the job. FIRST, practice on a pretend interview (or meeting this dude again) Dress the part & practice in front of a mirror. Be confident & act like the job is yours.
