Ever notice how atheists can never construct an affirmative case for their set of beliefs? Why is it that instead of building a positive case for their side, they look for minor inconsistencies and try to exploit them? If their set of values and beliefs has anything to offer at all, why is it that instead of stating an affirmative case they present *parrot* what other atheists say in the negative about religion, argue that such and so is an atheist so I must be right, or you can't prove that you are right?

A) Firstly, how do you justify the policy of "Follow the Prophet, he knows the way" if the prophet is allowed to have such a skewed "personal opinion" of God?

B) Secondly, how can you believe Wilford Woodruff's statement that God won't let a prophet lead you astray? Since the Adam-God doctrine was given at an official Church function, wouldn't that be Brigham "leading people astray?"

C) Thirdly, if an LDS prophet "converses with God" and has received a "special witness of Christ" through the second anointing (as is required before being set apart as a prophet), shouldn't Brigham have known God better than to confuse Him with Adam? If not, then is an LDS prophet any different than you or me?

I'm not trying to "bash", I'm just curious how you interpret what I deem as a flaw of logic too drastic to reconcile. Hopefully you'll surprise me!

a couple of weeks ago i was driving and my gauge lights just went out. my turn signals and other things on the dash that come from different areas work but the spedometer and gas gauge dont light up. also now my tail lights no longer work. brake lights do though. i have checked every fuse i can find and none are blown. can someone tell me what i should be looking for now to try and fix the problem

A blonde and a brunette decided to rob a bank. They quickly devised a good plan and they put their plan to action. The brunette drove up to the front of the bank that they had decided to rob. She turned to the blonde and asked her, "Now, do you remember what the plan is?" The blonde sighed and replied, "Yeah, yeah, I remember..." The brunette went over the plan once more and let the blonde out to do her stuff. Before the blonde could shut the door, the brunette yelled out, "Be sure to be in and out in no more than 5 minutes!" The blonde ran inside and the brunette waited in the car... and waited... and waited... and waited... and waited.

After waiting for so long in the car, the blonde bursts out of the bank's doors, the alarm blaring loud enough to wake everyone up. The blonde was lugging a bank safe behind her by a rope tied around it. A security guard ran out of the bank, his pants down around his ankles and attempting to reach his gun. The blonde breathed heavily as she tried to put the safe in the car but finally jsut gave up and dropped the safe behind. She ran into the passenger seat and pulled the door shut, the car already moving. The security guard yelled, "Stop! Stop!" while the pair drove off, leaving the safe with rope tied tightly around it behind. The brunette frantically asked the blonde, "What the hell happened in there?!?" The blonde was panting and turned to the brunette and choked out, "What do you mean? I followed the plan exactly!" The brunette paused and yelled, "YOU IDIOT! YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO TIE UP THE GUARD AND BLOW THE SAFE!"
