that statement was a comment made by a comedian.
It was a play on words meaning he is everywhere (in Hollywood where he was). I think it was Don Rickles that said that.

If there was not always a comedian in the bunch life sure would be boring. No law like that.

Yes, there is always a comedian in the bunch, it is the 11th commandment "Thou SHalt Lighten Up, it is good for thy health"

I am the comedian, in every bunch I join.

Don't think there is.. I just had a bunch of chips and there wasn't a single comedian in there... So, if it IS a law, Baked Lays just broke it.

There always is. Groups that dont have one usually fizzle and dont stay groups. Every group of friends needs certain elemants to be filled to remain an active group. There needs to be one hugge success, one huge failure, one funny guy, one ladies man, etc...

I dunno, it just seems to always work out that way though. From what I've seen there's always one friend who can be thought of as the comic relief. I'm usually that person in my circle of friends. I suppose there could be a group of friends without such a person, but how boring would that be? Way to take yourselves seriously guys....oooook.
