a beaker is made of glass and heating a glass beaker to boiling may break the glass. Also an open beaker can bubble over during boiling. An organic substance contains oxygen which can dissipate and form gasses when boiled.

The organic liquid can volatize and be toxic via breathing.
It can spill over onto a hot surface or open flame and ignite.
It can sputter and the hot liquid can burn your skin or pose an absorption hazard.

When the solvent boils the vapors will sink. Depending on the flash point when they sink they could ignite from your heat source.
