Some people do ,and sadly, others do not. The younger generation (not all) have a hard time with the concept of manners. I have been told by a 16 year old that manners are a throw back to the Dark Ages,

Just the other day a guy about 16 or so opened the door for me and my daughter and he said have a good day. People with manners are still around just harder to find.

Some people do and some don't. I think the ones that do are harder to find then the ones that don't have any manners.

im 21 and i have noticed so many unmannered pensioners,
like last wk i was in the market and there was two old ladies looked about 70 yr old they stopped in front of me,i didnt think anything of it then a second later the woman started saying 'we can stop in the market if we wont to!'
and my god did she have a bad tone of voice! and i had done/said nothing.
its the older generation who set an eg to younger ones,yet they seem to be forgeting manners themselves.
it makes me sick.
plus old ppl swearing. its just not right, if MY grandma did it id be so ashamed especially since. okay i swear but curb my tongue in front of peers.

NO, but I do....it's amazing to me, when you say Good Morning to somebody and they do not respond. Or when you do something nice and they do not say thank you. My biggest gripe is when you Bless somebody after they sneeze and they do not respond. How rude!!!!!

Not so much. How hard is it anyway to say "please" or "thank you"?? I really hate when I let someone into traffic and they don't have the courtesy to give a simple little wave. Grrr!
