Right, SCALES the mother of all guitar questions. Can someone explain to me in Layman Terms how to understand Scales, im really confused with Modes and various aspects of the scales, ive been learning the Major Scale for E.

I seriously want to learn scales and am finding it really hard to understand how to use them to my advantage. Any help would be great!

I am 26 and weigh 217 pounds. I have struggled since I've had my two sons. I am fairly active now but I would like to calculate the points for someone with my weight and not much activity. I don't want to pay all that money to go one time because I do not have time to attend normal meetings and would rather pay to keep my gym membership rather than paying for weight watchers. List of the usually-argued fake reasons and why they're fake:

1) "The deficit" - - tax revenue is UP since the tax cuts and is rising at over 4X the rate of inflation - - - yes we have a deficit problem but that means we need to cut SPENDING. When your boss gives you a raise that's $2K more than you expected and your husband blows $3K more than you expected at the dog track, the problem's not with your boss!

2) "They went only to the rich" --- First of all, that's not true. Second, even if it were true, it's their money - someone else's tax cut doesn't harm you. It doesn't mean "you have to pay more" if revenue is going UP. Moreover, the top 1%, 5%, 10%, 20%, 50% of taxpayers pay an INCREASING share of the tax burden since the tax cuts went into effect.

3) "Lower income folks should get a tax cut" - sure, go ahead, I'll support ANY tax cut - but again, revenue is UP - cutting Peter's taxes is not a reason to raise Paul's taxes.

A few days ago, Pope Benedict issued a proclimation stating that the Catholic Church was the only true path to salvation.

Is there anything in the Bible that supports this, or goes agianst this?

Truthully, I'm lookin for the stuff AGAINST.

Ok - So I have this co-worker - He is SOOOOOOOOO freakin’ lazy it is PATHETIC! He rushes all his work, & screws stuff up ½ the time b/c he is in such a hurry to get it done. He takes an extra 10-15 each day for lunch (b/c he says he is salary), but no one does b/c we abide by the rules. If you ask him to take care of something he says “When I have time” which is just his excuse for saying ‘I don’t want to do it’. When a customer comes in he will acknowledge them, but expects someone else to take care of them b/c that would require him to get off his lazy @$$. Not only is he lazy, he is annoying & he always screws up – and he doesn’t want to admit it. Other times he makes a joke like it is funny. I get so FIRED UP w/ him & he will sit & argue a loosing battle w/ me like a little KID (mind you he is almost 50)!!! I have even told him on several occasions he is freakin’ worthless & a waste of space, but he thinks I am joking. What do I do to spare me & my co-worker’s sanity?!?

1] Get married (happening soon)
2] Have kids
3] Own a collection of muscle cars
4] Travel the world
5] Own my own spa and maybe another business too
6] Become a pro at using poi balls (Already working on it)
7] Learn atleast 3 languages. Japanese, French, and Spanish (Already working on it)
8] Learn how to ride a motorcycle, and of course buy one
9] Have a better relationship with my family
10] And to just be happy again

This question is posed to those that repeatedly bring up the "S Factor" as a reason NOT to homeschool. However, I welcome everyone-especially other homeschoolers-to respond.

If public school is the only source of socialization (seemingly it is, by the responses I read that indicate you will not have a chance to socialize if you do not attend public school), what do you do in the evenings? Weekends? Holidays? Summer break?

It is sad to think that you spend all of that time alone, because you do not have the public school to go to for your socialization.

I am a die hard Cubs fan and the Brewers have to be deluded if they really think that they have this divison wrapped up. The Cubs are hot on their tails and 4 games back and their is a whole 2nd half to play. I could understand if they are Brewers fans that are loyal to their team but you can't change the truth even if they don't like the Cubs that the Brewers their team aren't unstopable, uncatchable, and have this divison wrapped up from the Cubs.
It seems like they are going to have learn the hard way of how wrong they are.

My shepherd is killing the grass where he wee's. I give him tomato puree or ketchup as suggested by some of your answers on similar subject but he is still killing the grass big time could rimadyl be the cause and is there any food or other product that may help.
