wow it's a shame that people have to remove thier own skin tags, because it costs to much to have a professional do it.

yuppers, I've got a few of them. They are caused in areas where skin to skin rubbing occurs. They are harmless. The dermatoligist will remove them with a shot and a snip, but it costs. If they bother me, I have a friend tie a string tightly around it while I pull it slightly out. it stings a little at first. Then I cover it with a small round bandage for about 4 days, take off the bandage and it usually falls right off. SOmetimes it takes a slight painless tug to make it fall off. Sounds gross, but it works.

They are little pimply things on your skin. But not like proper zits because they don't have any puss in them. I think they can be dangerous to try and remove by yourself, so I don't think you should try the 'string thing', even though it sounds like good fun!
