If we are going to allow 12 million people who entered the country illegally to stay, essentially rewarding them for breaking the law, what should be the price they have to pay? I am not for deporting people, but I feel bad for people who are trying to get in here by following the law. What is the appropriate punishment for those 12 million?

Terrorists kill people. That makes them terrorists. Also the fact that terrorist use terror to get what they want. What if those terrorist, from let's say Iraq, come to USA and create a health insurance company. And they intentionally deny insurance to 50 millions of American and at the same time they intentionally, fro the simple fact of making more profits, let's 18,000 of those insured Americans die by rejecting to give them the prescriptions that terrorists, now health insurance company owners, promised to give to Americans.

By doing that terrorists, pass from killing around or more of 1,000 American soldiers a year, to killing around 18,000 civilians and probably soldiers every year.

That is how insurance company work in here. Even Costa Rica, a poor country, has better insurance system than here.

Would you considerer terrorists those insurance companies' owners and CEOs? Why or why not?

Pirate walked into a bar and the bartender said, "Hey, I haven't seen you in a while. What happened? You look terrible."

"What do you mean?" said the pirate, "I feel fine."

Bartender: "What about the wooden leg? You didn't have that before."

Pirate: "Well, we were in a battle and I got hit with a cannon ball, but I'm fine now."

Bartender: "Well, okay, but what about that hook? What happened to your hand?"

Pirate: "We were in another battle. I boarded a ship and got into a sword fight. My hand was cut off. I got fitted with a hook. I'm fine, really."

Bartender: "What about that eye patch?"

Pirate: "Oh, one day we were at sea and a flock of birds flew over. I looked up and one of them pooped in my eye."

"You're kidding," said the bartender, "you can't lose an eye just from bird poop".

Pirate: "Well, it was my first day with the hook."

During the Battle of Horseshoe Bend (United States fought the Creek Indians), the Cherokees were allied with United States forces and, even, saved Andrew Jackson's life in the battle. After the battle, Jackson replied to Cherokee Chief Junaluska, "I will remember this day and the Cherokees; I tell you that I will never betray, nor force, the Cherokees from their homes."

Years later, as the 7th president, Andrew Jackson signed the Cherokee forced removal policies; subsequently, 4000 Cherokees died as a result of the Trail of Tears. Most of the Cherokee were forced onto barren and useless reservations; where it was very difficult to grow crops, and there were few animals to hunt (most animals were on open ranges which were off limits).

I have mixed emotions when I look at the $20 bill and see President Andrew Jackson.

I am just wondering, what is your opinion about Andrew Jackson?

(It has nothing to do with homework.)

I was 4 when I started Irish step Dancing. When I was 8, my parents made me quit because I hated to practice and they didn't want to buy a dress for someone who wouldn't practice.

Well last year, I found out that 3 girls in my class irish danced. Thats when I remebered where all my old ribbons and medals and pictures were. I pulled them out and saw my old shoes and CD of practice music. Well I listened to the CD and looked at some old pictures when I realized that I wanted to take it up again.

So now I'm 14 and I want to take it up during High School becasue I want to do a sport and I hate what people consider sports (you know the running around chasing a ball sort of thing) So I asked my parents and we found a school and my mom is suposed to be calling to register me.

what I need to know is since I cant remember alot about the steps, would i need to start on a very beginer level or what? Any information you can give about anything is greatly encouraged.

Seems like he doesn't want to spend time with me anymore because he's too busy in school and work. He told me that before he leaves to go to college he will spend the whole summer with me so we both can be happy together. So i believe him and didn't go to summer school. But as soon as i know he sign up for summer school in college and always ignore me. He nevers spend time with me on the week days and tells me he doesn't want to spend time with me on the weekend because i might get in trouble by my dad for going out. So the only day that we get to be together is Friday. We never do anything together except always argue. Seems like the only thing he wants for me is sex. Also everytime i tell him how i feel he always tell me that i'm stupid and should never think like that. But how can i not think like that when it's happening. i know he loves me but seems like he's always too busy for me so what should i do?

Nobody doubts Maddux, Clemens, Randy Johnson and Pedro will make on the first ballot. But which one will get the best percentage of votes.

Will any of them pass Tom Seaver as the highest ever?

Maddux. 16 straight seasons and a total of 17 with 15 or more wins. Impecable control, with 3 more seasons averaging 11 wins he will pass Christy Mathewson as the 3rd in victories. 16 Gold Glove awards

Clemens. One of the most durable starters ever. 2 pitching Triple Crowns. 350 victories and counting

Randy Johnson. Probably the most devastating combination of pitches. Highest K/IP ratio ever.

Pedro Martinez. The best winning percentage for somebody with 200 wins and did not play before 1900. Lifetime ERA is only 2.81.

With satelites watching us, our cell phones and home phones can be traced, our vechiles have devices that aloud people to monitor everywhere we travel, we no longer can speak our minds freely about our country, countrymen or government without reprecussions, it makes a person wonder, "are we really free?"

Hi,

A small part (a 2"ish plastic collar) appeared in my drivers footwell today and appeared to have broken off somewhere under the dash. The engine noise seemed to increase suddenly when this happened. I can't notice any difference when driving it but the extra noise in un-nerving. Does this sound like anything major or should I just carry on driving it untill I can get it to a garage?

Cheers,
Chris

That's what somebody told me just today. Back then, I thought that if you LIED about being a felon, then you couldn't get financial aid but you can still go to college. Maybe I'm getting this all confused. But I know this girl who's on probation with the law, & she's 17 & going to college, but her guardian is paying for it out of pocket. Do you think she perhaps LIED on her application?

As an AMERICAN, not a liberal or democrat or conservative, or neocon or republican, but as an AMERICAN, I believe the time for impeachment is NOW! I ask those who call themselves the latter of those names to take a long hard look at their party and their policies and ask themselves: Are these policies in the BEST Interests of the AMERICAN people? Are you and is the COUNTRY better off now than we were six years ago? Unfortunately, I don't believe you can count "safety" or "feeling safe," due to it's relativity and the possibility that it could change in a moment. I'm asking ALL Republicans to take a look within and answer these questions HONESTLY. I think you'll surprise yourself when you reach an answer. I ask Democrats to do the same thing for the sake of putting the Country before politics. And I ask both sides not to dismiss the other right off the bat as righty or lefty extremists, but to listen openly to one another. Don't just find fault, find REMEDY!
Truce?

The new day falls thundering
as an avalanche
racing to consume the old day
I grope for purchase
on the walls of what I know
the status quo
I resist the rush
the crush
of the tumbling hours
that furnish my
living labyrinth
as stones and bones
in a cemetery tomb.
