They are delusional. Let them dream. Reality will sink in early next year and they will be crushed. After a few "I told you so"s we can help them see the light and narrow candidates further for them since they obviously haven't got sense enough to pick a viable candidate for themselves.

First of all, there are not just a few of us. Check around for our presence on MySpace, YouTube, Meetup, Facebook, etc. for our massive online support that dwarfs all other Republican candidates.
Second, we don't think he is God. We just love his message. He is the ONLY person in all of Congress that actually follows the Constitution and actually wants us to be free. He is an honest politician like one we have never seen. He is truly America's last hope. Most of us are very well versed in economics and politics and we are extremely upset at the lack of understanding of these issues by the general public that has led to our current extremely percarious situation.

Because he is the first candidate that has enough sense and consistency for me to support. He is the FIRST candidate I have EVER supported.
He wants and votes for smaller government and less interference in other countries' affairs. He tells the truth, even when it is not popular. He doesn't believe it is the government's responsibility to tell us what to do with our lives - expecially when the Constitution says the same thing. His policies all represent what the Founding Fathers setup. He knows government is wasteful and unproductive, so why should government run even more of our country?
He isn't a god or even an idol, but I sure would (FINALLY) be proud of our leader if our leader was like him.

You can't vote, you are 16, I wish by the time you can vote, you will drop the hyphenated-american crap. Why do Obama supporters like yourself feel threatened by Ron Paul if he's got nothing on him? Or is it because he doesn't support illegal immigration or amnesty?

'have you heard of ron paul?' 'do you plan to vote for ron paul?' 'is ron paul the most independent candidate out there?'....ARRRRRRRRRGHHHH!!!!! it makes me NOT want to know anything more about him! i wonder how many of these folks are 'planted' by his campaign...in any event, i think these posts have a very real chance of backfiring...it's like being followed around by a mime...after the first 5 seconds you just wanna scream

I'm a Ron Paul supporter but I don't think he's a god. Why do democrats talk about Al Gore as if he's god? Or why do Republicans talk about Bush as if he's god?

Because opportunist political candidates for president attract those who want to believe in that message, no matter what it is. They fail to realize that they are being used only to solidify that person's position as a career politician.

i haven't seen that at all. he is interesting to me. is he a viable candidate? i don't know. if there is a grass roots movement, they had better get on with it. i would definitely listen to more about him. i have seen him on bill maher's show and he seems to know what he is talking about. he touts himself as the only true republican, he sounds much different that the established candidates. there is nothing out there but obama for me right now.
now, bush's boys think that bush walks on water.
