When I bought my laptop, it said it had a DVD-+RW/CD-+RW drive with dual-layer and all that stuff. Now I'm trying to burn a DVD for the first time and it says that it's not a recordable drive. I have the laptop for about 2 years and I keep it well maintenanced. HL-DT-ST RW/DVD GCC-4244N is the drive model or what not. I have download an update to the firlmware. I use Sonic MyDVD to burn it. What can i do to burn my movie.

Every day that I log on to answers I am amazed at how many people don't really know what a cult is. What is even more disturbing is they don't know what a Christian cult is.

I often discredit and expose the Jehovas Witness and Mormons as Christian cults. In defense of these organizations people will shoot back and tell me organized religon is a cult or that diffrent Christian denomanations are cults.

They hate the word cult so much yet they really have no clue what it means. They can't even tell you what a Christian cult is.

Is there anyone out there who knows what a cult or Christian cult is? Please tell me someone does!

So why all of a sudden is it the Catholic Church that is being called so rude? Before this article came out and the news twisted it to suit it's anti-Catholic agenda, people on this site have said all kinds of rude things about Catholics straight from their church leaders mouth, including we are from Satan and the whore of Babylon and all that so this is light weight stuff I would think. This article really lends credence to the term "The Truth Hurts" don't it?

When I went to take care of my mother, the marriage had been rocky prior but I guess this was the last straw. While I was at my Mom's I seen alot of old male friends and a few new ones and how do you know when its ok to give out ur # or pursue new and old friendships?

'what does this mean?' and the imfamous 'does he/she like me? Stop it, please! most of these question can be answered by a simple thought. God gave us yahooanswers and he also gave us brains. dont lose 5 points so ppl can stroke your ego. I know i am guilty of one of these but lets move on please.

I feel this friend has asked so much, I'm feeling used and abused.
-He had an accident and broke his legs so I donated a little to his family.
-His parents were in the hospital so I gave him gas money(he used it for a hotel)
-He asked for $300 ( I offered $100) for vacation money saying he would pay me back. He then declined the $100 & asked another couple for $400!
-He offers to pay half of a two nights stay in a hotel and then lingers in the parking lot until I have to tell him to get his butt up here and help me pay for half!
-Timeshare, we were suppose to split the cost, he gives me the payment coupon book and says I'm better at managing it and has not offered to make a payment. I've made 4!!
-Took a job 60 miles away from home (in my same town) 1st day on the job asked if he could stay w/me.
-Asked if I'd run to the store to get him something to drink
-Asked if he's really tired, could he stay a few hours at our house when we're at work??
Is it me??

Hi all,

I have a 55 gallon freshwater aquarium thats moderately planted. Problem is that I have great trouble keeping plants alive (the fish are doing great)--the leaves start turning brown no matter how much fertilizer or iron supplements i add. I have 2 aquaglow 15 watt lights turned on in a 12 hour light cyle. I suspect that's not enough light since i heard its supposed to be 2 watts per gallon, so i need over a 100 watts of light? Since my aquarium hood (from an Allglass 55 gallon aquarium kit) can only handle these smaller tube lights, do i need to get another hood in order to keep these plans? thanks very much.

My best friend came back from a year in OZ earlier this yr & I've only seen her few times, we started spending more time 2gether again then all of a sudden she stopped speakin, it's been just bout 2 mths now & not a word, we didn't fall out or anythin, I've left her msgs askin if she's ok but nuthin bck, i know she's been out with her other friends etc, should I tell her straight out I'm annoyed or leave it?

I was walkin my dog today and i was talking to my neighbor and when i looked down my dog ate some poop..not alot..just a little...should i be worried?...im so scared shes goin to die..but then again my dog eats everthing from paper towels to anything it can get its paws on..please help..im so worried!!!

I know my marriage is over.There's nothing, I'm just buying time because he's crazy.My family is poor and there's no room for me at there houses.When we married he swore to me that if I quit my job he'd always take car of me,(married or seperated)now he's saying I'll just have to starve.We have a 2 yr old child that he won't let me take and he has moved everything into his name and basically told me pack my thing and leave if I don't like it.All I litterally have is a car.The last time I tried to leave I open a baking account that he found out about and Totally chewed my head off.I have like $210 in that account.But that won't get me far.I asked the same question about 6 month ago and all the advice was good but he found out about the e-bay acct and the bank acct.He wont let me work.Just at the business he ownes and he doesn't pay me.I guess I'm just grasping at straws???Any legal advice would be great.Any Advice is great! I live in MSi.(There are no shelter's here.)

is there any chance you can make the Final Fantasy XI updates load faster? 'cause it took about four hours to download then my big sis came in and closed the program!!! now i gotta start alllll over.

i've heard that you can use POL(PlayOnline) while waiting for the updates, is that possible? and if it is, TELL ME HOW!!!

You know the cheap box kind you had as a kid.
I heard that if you dont use all the macaroni it would
be cheesier. Last time i cooked it it wasnt very good, I
