Only in the sense of being the 'designer' of Bishop Paley's watch.

As Dawkins showed, the real watchmaker is a process, not an entity.

I've seen National Geographic specials were animals have killed their own siblings simply to avoid starvation. I've seen one where male seals killed baby seals to make the mother go into heat and mate with them. The watchmaker must have a sadistic side to make nature so brutal.

God is supposed to ALMIGHTY so if there is God then He would have no problem in managing all this. As far as your mum's depression and your uncle's leg is concerned, you need to understand that God Has not sent us in this world to just enjoy life and do whatever we like, this world and our life is a TEST, everyone has a different test and everyone will be judged according to one's test.Your mother's depression is a test for her and your uncle's missing leg is a test for him.

are you asking how could the all powerful wise deity create such a flawed, random, poorly conceived universe/galaxy/solar system/earth/man?
that is the paradox of religion, and why everything they say and believe is totally wrong. If you completely remove all religion from the equation, the universe/galaxy/solar system/earth/man
will make sense, and bear no resemblance to a watch

"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him."
