So why all of a sudden is it the Catholic Church that is being called so rude? Before this article came out and the news twisted it to suit it's anti-Catholic agenda, people on this site have said all kinds of rude things about Catholics straight from their church leaders mouth, including we are from Satan and the whore of Babylon and all that so this is light weight stuff I would think. This article really lends credence to the term "The Truth Hurts" don't it?

there's alot of truth to the Scripture that says "because they left us is proof they were NEVER with us". Popes not only know the Bible they Live the Bible. I would even say that there are several people today who have the intercession of the Popes throughout the ages to thank for their being alive today.

Personally, at times like this, I think of that vision that St John of Bosco had about the church being this ship and the pope her pilot, and all these other little boats beside her. Some were trying to sink her, and others were holding back, waiting until the battle was over.

Greetings. I guess we Catholics are supposed to take fiery insults from everyone who doesn't believe the true teachings of Christ. And you know what, we normally do out of love and obedience to our Lord (Luke 6:29). You are right in that the Pope's statement is lightweight compared to the Whore of Babylon trash that has been tossed at us for centuries. (sigh)

Perhaps one day all who call themselves Christian will be united in Christ. Peace of our Lord be with you.

The truth might hurt IF it were in fact the truth.

The truth is that the catholic church is NOT the church that Christ established and the catholic church is NOT the way to salvation.

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6

That is the only truth that may hurt.

Billy Graham is a Bible teaching Christian and he never did anything other than quote the Bible about what the Bible says about false teachings and false teachers. The Pope never used Bible to prove his point.

My wife use to be a catholic , she said her eyes were opened when she heard the true word of God. She said there was a lot of works in Catholicism to get you to heaven , which does not follow the scriptures. Please read 1 Timothy 4 :1-5..Hebrews 10:11 in a non catholic bible

I don't believe in Billy Graham's teachings anymore than I believe in what the pope says.

I don't like the Catholic Church. I don't like how you have to talk to a priest to get saved. Your sins only need to be told to God and he will save you. No man is higher than the next so the Pope to me doesn't have anything special about him. They also pray to idols which is against the Ten Commandments saying that you shall have no idols before Me. People will disagree about that one, but they pray to St. Michael and Mary. They won't do anything for you, they are dead.

Don't sweat it. Billy just wishes he had as many people as the Catholics do. Then He could have money like they do.
