I feel this friend has asked so much, I'm feeling used and abused.
-He had an accident and broke his legs so I donated a little to his family.
-His parents were in the hospital so I gave him gas money(he used it for a hotel)
-He asked for $300 ( I offered $100) for vacation money saying he would pay me back. He then declined the $100 & asked another couple for $400!
-He offers to pay half of a two nights stay in a hotel and then lingers in the parking lot until I have to tell him to get his butt up here and help me pay for half!
-Timeshare, we were suppose to split the cost, he gives me the payment coupon book and says I'm better at managing it and has not offered to make a payment. I've made 4!!
-Took a job 60 miles away from home (in my same town) 1st day on the job asked if he could stay w/me.
-Asked if I'd run to the store to get him something to drink
-Asked if he's really tired, could he stay a few hours at our house when we're at work??
Is it me??

YOU are HIS friend. HE is NOT YOUR friend. He is using you....

No it's not you. As long as you keep saying yes he will keeping asking. It's time to start saying no and that's to every question he asks. If he lays the friendship thing on you just tell him the cost of your friendship is the money he owes you. After he pays you back you can be friends again.

How much have you asked for?

Over a lot of time these things may not be so bad with good friends assuming it goes both ways. If it was asked in a short period with no return generosity, get rid of them.

no it isn't you mate
get rid of him - he is a leech
you are too kind hearted and have done quite enough for this person already
be careful
just say to yourself where it concerns money i will have no dealership with this person any longer- your quick retort should be that you only have enough for yourself to survive on
maybe you should seriously consider moving on from this guy altogether - do yourself a favour
good luck xx

This guy is the definition of moocher. Why exactly are you still his friend?

both, he is a moocher, and you're being too damn generous! Make him pay for things, or don't invite him at all.

Sounds to me like you need a new friend. I had a friend like him once it is better if you tell him to get out of your life. You'll be better off with out him.
