Hello, I had to put my dog down after having him for 15 years, Me an my husband got him a year after we met, when we was dating an had no kids. Now 15 years later an married with 3 kids, I had my dog longer then my kids an longer then i knew my father, (he died when I was 8). Its been 5 month since hes been gone, an I want another dog, but cant bear hurting the feeling of my other dog,(thats sounds weird) My friend gave me a 2 yr old cocker spaniel, (That what mine was) she got it from her aunt how could not take care of it, an it was dirty, it hair was suck together. It was awful, it took me 3 day to clean, cut an wash him. but i had to find him a new home cause i just didn't think i could get to like him like y other dog, Am I wrong? Is it to eaarly for another dog?

If a recipe calls for an oven setting of 350 degrees for 1 hour and the same recipe calls for 20 minutes in a microwave (1200 watts) on high. Does anyone know or can answer which one uses more electricity? These days..I have to watch the usage closely. Summertime in south Texas can be brutal and the AC is used when I'm home. That makes my bill high. Try to save where I can.

We are going to give a new layer of coating to the path. If one gallon of coating can cover 6yd^2 , how many gallons of coating do we need? Note that coating comes only by the gallon, so the number of gallons must be a whole number. (Use the value 3.14 for Pi .)

I've noticed this with out adult 5 year-old cat, and didn't think anything of it, until I saw my new 8-week old kitten does the same thing.

When they eat their kibble, they do this little shake of their head when picking it up. I thought maybe it's dust or something, but have eliminated that as cause, and have no other possibility - can anyone tell me why they do this?

I met a guy and he is the most wonderful man I've ever met, he's one of those really exceptional ones, but I hurt him... badly, one night in the bedroom, I told him he was... well... small, he was great but left a little to be desired in the size, this upset him badly, now he doesn't want to talk to me, he says I should just go find someone bigger. I was so stupid, I love him so much and I know I'm never gong to meet anyone else like him ever again, and I know he still cares about me, how can I make this up to him?, or can I even make it better in anyway, I want him back so bad, even if I admit my mistake, he may not be happy ever again, wht do I do, help please.

Hello, I was watching Star Trek Generations and I had a question I was hoping someone could help me with. When the members of the fleet are "beamed" from one spot to another, how do they know who to transport? For example, if there are six people in the room and someone says "three to transport" how do they know which three??

I am a heterosexual mom, but I am curious as to why this gets a lot of attention. I never considered announcing to anyone "hey I'm hetero" so why is it important for "homosexuals" to announce it?

I know some people spout "hey I am a Christian" or "hey I am eco-friendly" or toot their own horn is some other fashion, but what is the point?

Is it to get attention? [I don't mean to offend]
Is it to open a dialogue?
Is it merely a "heads up"?

For some reason, when i was a little kid, 4th or 5th grade, I would always have a dream that I forgot to put my clothes on before I went to school. And, I only noticed that when i walked into the classroom, wearing underwear only, and all of the kids laughed at me. Does anybody know what could be the cause of my dream, or what it means??

When he sits in my lap he has his eyes wide open and jumps at everything. Will he eventually come around? I only feed him from my hand which he rarely takes to make sure he knows hands= good. i have another rat who is completely fine with me and likes to be with me. Is there anything else i can do to help him come around and want to be with me like the other rat?

I have windows me,,my friend installed xp but it made my comp run really slow so i switched back to me.when i did i had to reinstall windows media player 9 but it wont install.it says "it was not possible to complete setup. run setup again " when i do it just repeats over and over again
