Respite support co-ordinator.
I organise short term or emergency support for family CARERS of people who have a disability, who are elderly, who may have mental health issues and people who need palliative care (or caregivers- "carers" is the term we use in Australia) so carers can have a break from their role.
So my focus is slightly different to most other services. I focus on supporting the CARER and not the person being cared for.

LOVE MY WORK- A LOT!

Healthcare Traveler (Respiratory Therapy). Stay in one place 3 - 6 months then move on to different assignment. It pays GREAT and it's a fun way to see the country, saving $$$$, and saving lives along the way. Ultimate cool job!! Spending the spring / summers on the beach, fall / winters exploring cool cities. No real "home", but someday (in a year or 2) will pay CA$H for one and stay put with little or no mortgage, then will open my own *chocolate* biz when I retire!!

My title is "In House Counselor," I work in an alternative health care facility redirecting clients & making sure all their needs are met. These clients are at a disadvantage because they lack family support & have severe personality disorders. I have a BA in Psychology & I feel my education plays a big part on my success on reaching out to their hardships & understanding their illness. I have been working with these clients & other clients who have similar illnesses over five years. I love this type of work. The job is fascinating because everyone is unique in their own special way.

i am a journeyman mechanic. but what i'd really like to do is make love for a living. and that could mean different things to different people. i'd do it for free, which means i would have to continue mechanicing, but i love working on cars, it is how i make love a lot of the time. i know this sounds cheesy as hell, cuz it is early as hell on wednesday morning, and i just woke up and i have to whiz, but...oh, never mind. i will probably make a mess. but i got a mop, and i know how to clean up after myself. probably should never answer questions when you are under the influence or still half asleep. but i have done both, obviously.

We own 3 business's, it can be hectic, but it allows me to work from home most days, and spend alot of time with my kids, which, is the best part. I hate dealing with employees, and paying the IRS, those are the cons. It also allows us to live comfortably, which is really nice, and get some great deals for personal use. :)

I'm a Language Arts teacher and a writer. My passion for the written word and its power to encourage, to impart, to motivate, and to touch people's lives serves as a driving force in my life and in my chosen profession. Too, my faith in God and His promise, propels me further still. I cannot imagine doing anything else. Really, there is nothing else I would rather do.
