We got on the train this morning with valid tickets, but we sat in the First Class.Then two staffs came to check the ticket and told us our tickets are not valid in the First Class so we have to pay 20 pounds fine each. We said we can leave, but they insisted that we have to pay. We are really so angry, firstly, we are foreigners here, we really did not know our valid tickets cannot be used in First Class on the same train; second, there was no sign or notice said this is First Class and we have to pay more if we want to sit in the First Class; third, the staffs got on the train with us at the same time, they should remind us, but they just directly came to us asking the fine, we really thought they were intented to do that. However we said we can leave or we can pay for the First Class, they insisted that we had no choice except paying the fine. I am so angry and I said to them: you are racist. They said they wil sue me for slander, what will happen to me now? Will I be in jail?

Recently I saw someone removing the flip tabs off of his aluminum cans. When I asked why he said he got a much higher return for these tabs at a local hospital. I did not think then to ask where. But he said it was well worth the extra drive.

im off to the usa in 2 weeks and im now thinking about buying my laptop in the usa to use back here in sunny morecambe...
have got £700.00 thats a whopping big $1400 dollers :))) any advise, will i be able to use the built in wifi ? the plug will be different i know but i can change that. as long as the power pack will take 240v and not just 110v.

if you have bought one or have any advise that would be great thanks.

I saw a bunch of times that people (mostly women) shows great passion for Bloomingdale's in the movies and drama, like in "Friends". They treat it like some sort of icon, or fashion bible, like a "cult". And I've also heard that Queen Elizabeth II went there for shopping during her visit in New York in the 1970s. Now my question is that why women prefer Bloomingdale's to other up-scaling departments? I mean there are plent of reputed high-end stores in New York, like Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdolf Goodman, Barney's, or Neiman Marcus, etc. So Why is Bloomingdale's different? Are there any anecdotes in the legend of New York City?

In other words, I've got a Hawking hi gain antenna with which I'm grabbing some of my neighbor's signal(ats-a OK....she knows about it)....I'd like to network the rest of the computers in house with a netgear 16 port ethernet hub(en116). Currently running win2000 pro on two windows machines, xp pro on a laptop, and os x on a couple of imacs. I can upgrade, if that's accurate, to xp on the windows machines, if need be.

I foster kittens and I always need to know their weight to check if they're healthy and if they're ready for surgery.
A human scale is not accurate enough, and 3 weeks old kitten won't do a difference on the scale even if I weight myself with it and substract my weight. A food scale can't handle that much, most go up to 500g - 1lb only. Can you suggest a better scale I could use? Thanks!
