I would not go near the BOD to report any wrong doing. They are only interested in the price of stock and you would be labeling yourself as a 'problem employee'.
What I would do would be to go to a local employment attorney and have him/her review what happened to determine if there is some discrimination going on here. Yes, as an at will employee you can be terminated for almost any reason. The big exception is that you cannot be terminated because of discrimination due to race, ethnic origin, color, religion, sex, marital status, military status, disability or sexual orientation.
Look at www.eeoc.gov that website explains how these terms of discrimination are applied. You may also want to search on your state's Human Rights Department to see what they have to say on discrimination. Of course, the best would be to have an attorney look at your situation. Good luck.

the Board of Directors has to do with stock and the direction the company is going...they have nothing at all to do with human resource problems, so no, that will get you nowhere.
Well, what job are you doing now? Did you get promoted? Are you in line for a promotion or a specialized job? Did you apply to work in another department? Ask what plans they have for you, or get more education.

typically there is nothing that you can do in that specific situation because the did not terminate you, there merely re-assigned you within the company. They are completely within bounds in doing that. You may want to speak to your HR department and see if they can explain what happened and what you can expect.
Best of luck to ya!!

If you come under the law as an "Employee at Will", there is nothing that can be done. Keep doing what you are doing, and see what happens.

Uh, no, you don't have a case, legal or otherwise.
If you got laid off, then if you are in the US you can file for unemployment compensation.
Laws of other countries than the US vary.
