My friend was asking me this question the other day and that she had made love with her boyfriend but on the three occasions she did it, all had blood. She was shocked and wondered if it was some sort of internal bleeding. Is it really?

It can take several times to completely break a hymen. This is completely normal. She probably just has a thicker than normal hymen.

The hymen breaks one time, and one time only.

Since she's new to the world of intercourse, the cause could be from her vaginal muscles being stretched to accomodate a penis. If she's worried, she should see a doctor if she is having some bleeding during or after sex.

Yes it is possible for the hymen to only partially break and that you could encounter blood from the hymen after several bouts of sexual intercourse. It could also be caused by minor abrasion of the vaginal wall due to rough sex.
I shouldn't think it is anything to worry about but she should be thinking about using a condom to prevent getting a sexually transmitted disease or getting pregnant.

well, first her body isnt used to having a penis in her body, plus its sore from the first time and possible it didnt rip all the way so that could have someting to do with it too.
