My aunt has always had a troublesome life. (too much detail to go into on her) Over the last 2 years things have gotten steadily worse. My cousin (her son) died in August 2005 just 2.5 months after our highschool graduation. She's always been an alcoholic but she wouldnt let anyone help her. Sometime last year she got with this 20 year old (shes like 32ish). They lost the house she was living in and moved herself, her bf, & her two kids in with my mom. My mom is going through alot because of her disability. My aunt and her bf quit there jobs after moving in with my mom so my mom had to get a job overnight at a hotel. She works all night and was going to a business school during the day. Anway neither of them have jobs, they smoke alot of pot, they have wrecked my moms house, they cant/wont pay for anything, they just lay around all the time. I think my aunt is on drugs or addicted to painkillers. I want to know if anyone knows of a way to help her. Suggestions welcome if not rude!

Just wondering, because he got us into this war in Iraq that caused a rise in fuel prices. Or let's just say he was greedy and all of our gas money went directly into his checking account.Even so, The result: people began to buy smaller cars, we drive less and even buy hybrids to save money. A side effect of this MUST be a smaller carbon footprint by society as a whole. I wonder if there would be a way to measure the reduction of green house gasses that he has indirectly caused. sumpin to chew on..

I was just outside, I stared at a bottle of coke. I focused on it, and my vision dimmed all around except for that object. The things in my sight besides the coke became dim and I lost my thought, and didnt think of anything at all as long as I stared. Why is that when you meditate this, among other things happen?

I recently read a book called "The Natural History of Rape" which proposes that men are predisposed to rape women because it is part of an evolutionary adaption for males to try to procreate with as many women as possible, even by force. As much as this theory hurts me as a victim, what I found most upsetting was how many men I know who, not only agreed with it, but also admitted to me that if they could force a woman to have sex and not get caught, they would probably do it. These men were insensitive jerks either. Most of them were regular guys just being honest about an aspect of male sexuality. But as a victim it makes me feel hateful towards all men and mistrustful of any motives they may have. I know I will never let myself be open to man but this commits me to a life of being eternally alone. Does anyone have any advice on how to recover from being a victim of a rape, how to regain your sense of trust and faith in humanity while also facing the ugly truth?

Well, just look at the stats.

They both have lasted for over two thousand...

Christianity = Years

Mormonism = Months

Christianity has 2 Billion 72 Million members while Mormonism has 12 Million 5 Hundred Thousand Members.

So if the Mormon missionaries (or perhaps they could do it through polygamy) were to gather 2 Billion 59 Million 5 Hundred Thousand more members they would be as large as Christianity, which is the largest religion in the world.

my girlfriend wants me to live in detroit bcuz she tells me they have way more jobs and better homes out there and have much more things to do so can someone tell me how it is living in detroit? like do they have amusment parks out there? any good spots that will make me totally forget about california?
