they have and the guilty have run to hide and circle wagons like the settlers when they were attacking the Indians. You're so organized and so together, your families must be so proud of you all. Salamtec.

I disagree with Jason, lies can become the truth. I am, for example, 52 -- NOT, but I will be 52 next month.

A good answer to the question, however, requires more details. Some lies are important (I never had sexual relations with that woman), others are nothing more than a kindness (you look absolutely skinny in those jeans).

What are we really talking about?

By definition, that cannot happen.

To Poetic

Your confusing belief, thought or opinion with fact.

In your example; if you are 51, you are 51. You are not 52. You will become 52 but you are not 52. 51 is the truth, it is a fact.

If you turn 52 one month later, does the truth that was stated earlier become a lie? No, it was stated based on the existing parameters. If the parameters change, then a new statement is required.

The young lady asks, if what you believed proves to be false; what should you do? What can you do; deal with it and make changes to protect yourself next time.

If you mean when lies are accepted by some as truth all you can do is remain true to yourself !

In my limited experience TRUTH wins out in the end & if you don't remain true to yourself you can win the battle but lose the war !

your question is funny with my respect to your feelings.
I can't judge if your are depressed or confused, just decide what make you happy and do it, you don't need permission from anyone to live the live you want without lying to yourself, and don't worry about others at least for a month and you will know what I mean at the end of the month, you will feel much better.
