I say Kentucky in a blowout. They lost just 2 games that season, both were to Final Four teams and one was avenged. Best RPI rating of all time, 9 players eventually played in the NBA, and # 1 all time in the Sagarin Ratings.

If it didn't work, then it wouldn't happen. What possible reason would people think that the plumbing doesn't function, when obviously it functions just fine for those of us who are so inclined? And why would they reach such a conclusion when gay folks don't perform any activities that aren't common among straight folks, too?

Why does this "plumbing" argument against homosexuality make sense to anyone?

See, I am His whipping boy.

Except for the pain,

uncertainties abound

thereabouts of life;

nothing should interest

unless there is deeper stake.

Found everything a commonplace.

Nothing to look forward to,

but for the past revisiting;

too tired and vexed.

No new steps came to me

that should be belonging to God.

Listened to Him from the above--

an ear pressed against the floor.

Crawling things entered my each pore.

I'm planning on attending a pro golf tournament soon, but I really don't want to be stuck in the eighth row of a standing gallery for the entire day. Any tips as to how I can get to an area I can see the players? I assume it works better to stay at one hole all day rather than trying to follow a group, but if there are any other good strategies to keep in mind, let me know.

Went out with a male colleague for dinner 7mo. ago. He practically inhaled his food. I felt offended. He's treating me on my birthday. Taking me out to dinner. I don't want him to have a repeat performance this time. I text him," let's do our best not to inhale our food. Looking forward to your company and dinner with you." This time, I really did not want to beat around the bush. He's Russian and I find him direct to the point. Probably something to do with their culture. Some people find him rude but I think that's the way he is. Now, if I tell you what I told him, how would you react. Straight shooters out there tell me your reaction..

Making a cup of coffee is like making love to a beautiful woman. It's got to be hot. You've got to take your time. You've got to stir... gently, and firmly. You've got to grind your beans until they squeak. And then you put in the milk.

Laying a carpet is... very much like making love to a beautiful woman. You check the dimensions, lay her out on the floor, pin her down, nail her, then walk all over her. If you're adventurous - like me - you might like to try an underlay.

Well, hanging wallpaper is also very much like making love to a beautiful woman. Clean all the relevant surfaces, spread her out on the table, cover her with paste, and stick her up. Then you clean your brush, light your pipe, stand back and admire your handiwork.

Putting up a tent, is... very much like making love to a beautiful woman. You rent her, unzip the door, put up your pole an'...slip in to the old bag.

SAY I BROKE INTO YOUR HOUSE A lady wrote the best letter in the Editorials
in ages!!! It explains things better than all the baloney you hear on TV.

Her point:

Recently large demonstrations have taken place across the country protesting the fact that Congress is finally addressing the issue of illegal immigration.

Certain people are angry that the US might protect its own borders, might make it harder
to sneak into this country and, once here, to stay indefinitely.

Let me see if I correctly understand the thinking behind these protests. Let's say I break into your house. Let's say that when you discover me in your house, you insist that I leave.

But I say, "I've made all the beds and washed the dishes and did the laundry and swept the floors. I've done all the things you don't like to do. I'm hard-working and honest
(except for when I broke into your house).

According to the protesters:

You are Required to let me stay in your house You are Required to add me to your family's insurance plan You are Required to Educate my kids You are Required to provide other benefits to me & to my family (my husband will do all of your yard work because he is also hard-working and honest, except for that breaking in part).

If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your
house carrying signs that proclaim my RIGHT to be there.

It's only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and I'm just trying to better myself. I'm a hard-working and honest, person, except for well, you know, I did break into your house And what a deal it is for me!!!

I live in your house, contributing only a fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of cold, uncaring, selfish, prejudiced, and bigoted behavior.

Oh yeah, I DEMAND that you learn MY LANGUAGE!!! so you can communicate with me. And don't forget to make sure your forms are in MY language - I need to understand them...

Why can't people see how ridiculous this is?! Only in America .

I've sheathed/sided my 10x12 shed with grooved T-1-11 4x8 plywood panels. The panels are constructed with rabbet type ends so one side of the board will overlap the end of another board at the seam. Each wall of the shed uses 3 panels, so there are 2 seams on each wall.

Unfortunately I did not put the recommended 1/16" expansion slots between the panels where they overlap, so the panels are in contact at the overlap.

Is the lack of a gap a significant risk factor when there are only 3 panels / 2 joints on a wall? Can I live with it or do I really need to unscrew the zillion screws and reposition these panels to have a 1/16" gap?
