Alex: Are you actually telling the truth? No reputable doctor would schedule surgery without talking with you first. And no doctor would perform such an operation on a ten year old. People who undergo sex change operations have to live as a member of the opposite sex for at least a year and take hormones. If you are telling the truth, and your parents are actually talking like this, you should talk to a doctor, or nurse, or other health care professional and tell them what is going on. If none of these people are available, talk to your teacher at school. Something is wrong with this picture. You need outside help from someone. Please seek this help as soon as possible. Good luck.

Okay, wow. This isnt funny. First of all no 10 year old goes on answers.yahoo. Second of all, no doctor would perform this surgery on a 10 year old!! For something like this, you need to be 18 or 21. Third of all, no parents would want their child to get a sex change. Many support their children but they dont want them too. Wow, what a lie. I read your other posts by the way. Something else was titled "how to ask for condoms?" "Asking for a jock strap?" Yeah, you idiot. Get out of here loser. What are you 30, in your moms basment and playing dungeons and dragons? Wow.

No reputable sex change doctor would perform a surgery on someone your age. But talk to your parents, and talk to the doctor. If it looks like both your parents and the doctor seem determined to go ahead with this, call Child Protective Services for help. Ask a teacher for help finding the Child Protective agency if yours is not called the same thing in your community.

Wow! Talk to an authority, quick!!! Even the police could help! They have to right to do that...at all! Whatever you do don't run away! That may only put you life in danger, you're only 10 and there are alot of crazy people out there. But talk to your school counselors and they should be able to help...if they don't help talk to the police.
