As long as the mommy is still feeding them and taking care of them, thats good.
As far as how to tame them, that can be tough. It probably will be easier with the kittens, since they are still babies and probably not as scared of people as the mom is. The mom might be rather aggressive around you. Be careful! Those claws can do damage. It will just take alot of time and patience to tame her. You will have to win her trust, dont expect it to happen over a few days.
Try feeding her on a regular basis, let her see that it is you putting the food out for her. Sit on the ground close to her (not too close though) and try talking in a very soft voice towards her. If you are kind to her, and feed her eventually she should come around and trust you. But she probably will never be trusting of all people.

Sounds like they're feral. This manner you might have approximately a 30% risk of the kittens being tamed, so the percentages are towards you. I could advocate you might have the feral calico mama spayed. The global does now not want anymore wild kittens, lovely or in any other case.

When the kittens are about 4 - 6 weeks old you need to socialize them with people. Try and keep the mom around if you want to by feeding her, but for a couple months the babies should be brought into your home until they are about 12 weeks old. If you don't socialize with them, they will continue to be wild. Get some milk replacement and soft food for them to eat until they can start in hard food.

first just walk by and feed the mom, she may not allow you to go near her kittens, after a week or as sooon as you feel comfortable, stay until she finished the food and talk to her, so will get used to your voice. then start petting her, they love it when you scratch behind their ears or all along their back.
Then spent time with them and play a lot, whe she let you hold her, and the kittens then you can think about transporting them, do it, taking them all together, you can use a big box. Or maybe they will start following you after a little. Also, after 5 months try to take the mom to the vet for surgerym otherwise, she can arrive pregnant again in 6 months. Tan¿king care of her after surgery will create a nice bond between you!
Good luck!

How old are they? If they are almost new born, I would take them and start bottle feeding them. This will be almost the only way to tame a feral cat. If they are a little older, I would just sit outside where they are with a plate of wet cat food near you, and each day move the plate closer and closer to you. Let them go to you though, you'll scare them other wise.

Feral Cats are a huge problem not only for city folks but country folks too! They tend to be mean, nasty and unkept. They are a threat to livestock like chickens. They do not tend to be good pets and are really more of a pest. Shelters generally won't deal with them. Why oh why is it people leave behind their cats and even abandon them in the country, it's so sad.

I know exactly what you're going through. If you feed them, they will most likely come back for more. Do this until they get comfortable around you. Try to pet them from time to time. When you decide to keep them, make sure you get them checked, spayed and/or neutered so you won't have more kittens running around.

Put some food there for them. They'll stay there if they have regular food. Gradually I think you may be able to touch them too. Why would they go to a shelter? Just say they are yours and they are outdoor cats.

Feed them is the best way.
Since they are not tamed they will probablly always be a little
timid, skittish. Ususally not make good pets because of this.
Good luck... God bless

Try just sitting out nearby where they can see you - read a book or something. They will eventually come to you....especially if you have a little food at your feet :)
