I say Kentucky in a blowout. They lost just 2 games that season, both were to Final Four teams and one was avenged. Best RPI rating of all time, 9 players eventually played in the NBA, and # 1 all time in the Sagarin Ratings.

oh man what a ballgame; tony delk vs. taurean green, mercer vs. brewer, noah and antoine walker, pitino vs donovan. it would be close but i'm leaning toward Kentucky as well, those boys could put up some points and played a good all-around game. it would be a heck of a game though, a wet dream for any sec fan!

great question, i like it, gave you a star.

I think you answered your own question. I hated Kentucky but this was due to how damn good they were. That team had to be the best of the past 25-30 years thanks to the depth of that team.

As for this Florida team, they were good but would still be #3 or #4 on my list of best teams of the past 30 years. UNLV's championship (and tank job -- can anyone say hot tub) team is a solid #2 (probably only team that could challenge that Kentucky team), while I think Duke's '92 team is #3 (though this is tight with Florida).
