Why is it that people act so worried about their pets, and they think that the pet is very sick. But, they get on the internet and ask questions acting real worried. Wouldn't you think that you would have your *** in the car with the pet on your way to the vet, instead of getting on the computer and acting worried??? Has anyone ever heard of a vet?

I have four fish in my tank. A blue gourami, two cichlids, and a black phantom tetra. The two cichlids developed an orange/rust color around their mouth last night, and now their body also has this color. I noticed some orange/rust color on the fins of my other fish also. They are all still eating well and swimming around fine. I have no idea what is wrong and can't find any disease that makes your fish turn orange. Does anyone have any ideas?

I think it is an insult for someone to assume you belive in such theorys.

I went to sunday school for 10 years and it has only sealed by beliefs that God is something man has made to explain the world around him.

I think it should, especially for this section. Since
most "questions” on here are more like statements disguised as questions, I believe people who reply shouldn't receive thumbs down if they don't agree with the question/statement. I've personally stop giving thumbs down and thumbs up to any answers. Giving someone thumbs down just because you disagree with them shows you aren’t capable of respecting other people’s opinion. I often see thumbs down given to good honest answers. This demonstrates how biased and closed minded people are in this section.
For example, these are opinionated statements disguised as questions…….

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AoisSf5IWxssGd9OAV4WTyfY7BR.?qid=20070705094105AAYIFvo
Because honestly, there is no right or wrong answer to these questions, so why would anyone give thumbs down unless, they biased or closed minded

We watched "The Secret of MY Success" yesterday with Michael J. Fox from 1987. As kids we watched this movie often.

It is interesting to me to see the women in that movie that were considered to be some of the most beautiful women at that time. In today's society, they would just be considered average attractive women. And I'm not just talking about hair and clothing styles. I'm talking body and facial features, movements, attitude.

These women had average bodies, even the promiscuous wife of the boss. Slim, average breasts, nice bodies. Certainly not what we would see today, big breasted, big butted, looooong thin legged women with striking features.

In real life now, men who have been around for the last 20 years, have your own preferences changed? Do you prefer one look over the other? Do you know what I'm talking about or am I rambling?

Met a guy around 32 years of age that I've been seeing for awhile now. We got into the discussion of money. He has a good job (been there 12 years), but doesn't really have any savings (about $900) and lives paycheck to paycheck. He's been divorced awhile now and received just about $14,000 after all was said and done. That $14000 has since been spent--in about 4-5 months. I'm a saver and have money invested in a 401K plus a state retirement plan. I kind of got a shock when he indicated it didn't matter to him if he was "financially secure" when it came time to make big decisions whether it be to buy somthing or start a family...he just does it. I asked this question in the singles/dating forum and got only one answer that indicated "maybe you can teach him how to save money". My gut tells me to not pursue. Please tell me I'm not shallow for thinking about money when it comes to dating/relationships. Are there any guys out there in their 30's that like to save like I do?

As a bonus you can bring one person also, if you so chose.
If you decide to do so ...Who are they? And why did you chose them?
