We have two great kids and have been married a long time. But she is very emotionally distant and acts like she wants nothing to do with me. I keep begging her to go to counseling but she won't. We have no sex life and the longer I am married to her, the more angry and resentful I get. I am sorry I ever met her and so much want to get away. But for many reasons I cannot get a divorce. Why is it that some people prefer to be known as Catholics/ Lutheran/ Anglican/ Jehovah's Witnesses/ etc.... rather than as Christians.

I mean we all follow and believe in the Holy Trinity first, then only comes the traditions of the denominations that we belong to.

Like I asked a friend,,,hey you are a Christian right?She told me..."No I am a Catholic".

So I am a Christian first. Then a Catholic.

I am going through a horrible divorce and having a rough time. I really got a punch in the gut when I found out this week that his lawyer and mine are buddies and merged their law firms. I was told I could get dumped. Now I cannot get a hold of anyone and money is due me. I have left several messages for the local bar association and no one there will call me back either. What are my rights? Didn't they have an obligation to tell me this before wasting my time and taking my case? It seems like a bad business practice. Now I have no money, probably no lawyer, and legal aid has no guaranteee someone will be able to go to court with me Aug. 17th. I am a single mom with no other resources and I feel like I have been taken advantage of. AND...it will be important for answerers to know this in El Paso, Texas, laws are unusual here, not like in other places, so your standard answers might not really apply. It would help to have people familiar with these situations in TX to answer.

Does knowing the density of mercury keep you from doing evil? Does knowing the formula of gravity improve your relations with your neighbor? Does knowing the term photosynthesis induce you to lead a moral life?... Does knowing the structure of the molecule show you the difference between right and wrong?

What morality can you possibly derive from science? And if you cannot get any, and science is amoral, then why do you center so much of your writings around it?

Don't they know the only difference between them and alot of other people is they got caught. You would be surprised how many people do things they should be charged with they just haven't been caught. Not even by you.
