To put it in a nutshell...
There is a huge power imbalance between the People and Government/Powerful institutions (corporate lobbyists and interest groups). This needs to change. The playing field needs to be leveled and Barack Obama's platform is centered on this. He wants the citizens to be involved and participate with Government. The other Democrats have weak platforms and the Republicans are all Bush clones in one way or another. Social justice for the American people, a responsible Defense Department, wise diplomacy...
