First of all, I'm ELCA Lutheran, so yes, female pastors are allowed. I'm not asking your opinion on female pastors.

Moving on, how to I tell my parents about this calling? Other people I am close to know, and are supportive. I have a friend or two who has laughed at me and told me I'm wasting my life, but that's beside the point. I can deal with them. But how do I tell my parents? It seems like they expect me to go into business or law or something like that... But that's not where I see myself. Any advice, please?

125 people at the wedding. The cake is going to be a 3-tier cake. How do these flavors sound?
For the bottom layer (which is the biggest and feeds about 70 people) we are thinking about white cake with fresh strawberries and whipped cream filling.
For the middle layer (which feeds about 40 people) we are considering a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup filling with chocolate cake. My fiancee LOVES peanut butter cups, and the filling was REALLY good! However, we are concerned that this is not an appropriate cake flavor for a traditional evening wedding in January. But, it was very yummy. For the top layer (feeds about 15 people) we are thinking about a vanilla cake with hazelnut and chocolate filling. Do you guys think that Reese's Peanut Butter Cup filling and Chocolate Cake are appropriate for a wedding?

If anyone is watching the Indians-Tigers game you will know what I'm talking about. Rafael Betancourt is a pitcher ofr the Indians. He is not quick to the plate. He goes through a little routine before every pitch. They ended up calling a ball because he took more than 20 sec to throw the ball. It is a rule but I have never seen it enforced before. Do you think that is right or do you disagree? I personally think it should be a rule but it should be enforced and not be a new thing to the players.

I own a 1942 WW2 M1 Garand, I fire it occasionally. When firing it occasionally wants to eject the clip prematurely before all the rounds are expended. What could be the problem?

Some have said that education will stop terrorism, yet the recent terrorists in Britain are highly educated successfull doctors. These terrorists are highly educated in what the Quran teaches to kill the infidels and to establish Sharia law in the world. It seems the only education that will work against these terrorists is for us to appease them by submitting to their desires. Is this what those who claim education is the answer are saying or is there another way of ending terrorism through education?

When I was digging the holes with the post hole digger, everything was dry. I even stuck my arm way down in the holes to check them out. I left to return the post hole digger to the rent a store and when I came back, water was in the hole.
I asked my boyfriend to come look and he said I must have hit an underground spring or something. There is a well about 20 feet from the holes I dug today. Ok so now what, do I go ahead and put the concrete in tommorrow or dig new holes in a dry spot. I am sure there are no water lines under the holes because the city man said I am about 30 yards away from the water lines. Everyone thinks this is amusing and I am just pissed. I have put a lot of work into the clothes line.
Should I just go ahead and put the concrete in or start all over? The post hole digger was a monster for me to handle. It was heavy and almost threw me over. Plus I paid $30 to rent it for 2 hours.

Ok, so i have been going out with this girl a lot recently. She has told her friends she thinks i am cute. she asks me out and i ask her out to do stuff. whenever i see her she lights up. she wears makeup, looks amazing, and smells just great. She sends me several random texts like complaining she only got 2 hours of sleep etc. In fact just yesterday the count was at 38. She asked me about my relationship status at one point. And she has hugged me on occasions. She also says how much she wants to hang out more, cook for me, and how much we have in common.

There are times when i get confused on what she feels however... Like when we saw a movie together, she sat with her arms crossed almost the entire time (so did I tho, i feel more comfortable that way). This gave me no chance to grasp her hand :( When i drop her off to her house, she doesnt hesitate to leave, she looks at me smiles a lot, and thanks me for a great time and goes.

Im not sure what to think or do.
