watermelon salad

cut up 1/2 a watermelon and chill, toss in bowl with olive oil, cracked black pepper, sliced red onions and feta cheese. drizzle with lemon juice.

chicken on a stick
marinate chunks of chicken breast in corona and lime juice with 1 tbsp of sugar. skewer with the lime shells (that you just juiced), chunks of white onion and red bell pepper between pieces of chicken. grill until cooked.

roadside corn
place fresh ear of corn in a foil wrap. before sealing add to the wrap: 2 tbsp butter, a pinch of Grey salt, a tbsp of steak seasoning. seal tightly and grill until corn is done. allow to sit for 5 minutes before unwrapping to serve.
(alternate flavorings: lime juice and chili powder w/ butter; Parmesan cheese and butter)

Good Burger

1 pound ground beef chuck
1/2 small yellow onion, finely chopped
6 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons steak sauce
1/4 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs

DIRECTIONS
Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat, and lightly oil grate.
In a medium bowl, mix ground chuck, onion, brown sugar, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, steak sauce, and Italian seasoned bread crumbs. Form the mixture into four burger patties.
On the prepared grill, cook the burgers 3 to 5 minutes on each side, or to desired doneness

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the macaroni, and cook until tender, about 8 minutes. Drain, and pat dry.
In a medium bowl, mix together the celery, olives, mayonnaise, sour cream, milk, chicken and Ranch dressing mix. Stir in macaroni until well blended. Refrigerate for 24 hours. Stir, and sprinkle paprika over the top before serving.

Seven layer salad is always popular...layer these items,
1)shredded lettuce 2)cooked crumbled bacon 3)chopped white onion 4)chopped boiled eggs 5)bag of frozen peas( i know its weird but it is the best part of it!) 6)shredded cheddar cheese 7)mayo or miracle whip spread all over the top to cover and seal the other ingredients in the pan and add a little more cheese on top
-OR-
Wrap 3-4 cut green beans in 1/2 slice of bacon, secure with toothpick, place in pan, cover with bbq sauce and bake until done. people love this at our house
-OR-
bake store bought croissants and top with 1/2 melted butter/1/2 honey mixture while still warm. delicious and easy
