It wasn't Billy-boy so much as the democratic congress getting too big for its britches as my mother used to say. Gun control was probably the straw that broke the camel's back. They got spanked for it and you won't see any but the most loonie-toon leftists go near that issue anymore.

It was the post office scandal. More than anything else it was the post office scandal. Congressmen and senators stealing thousands of dollars from the Congressional post office. Democrats mainly. Throw the stealing bums out. And we did. Got "holier than thou" republican. Now wish we still had the thieving Democrats.

The Democrats got voted out because of the assault weapon ban. Nearly every Southern Democrat was voted out because of that 1 piece of useless legislation.
