The 11 year old is the only boy & he wants to live with me but his mother won't let him. She says she doesn't want to break up the family. We have been separated for 2 years & the divorce is all but done. She broke up our family with years of cheating & denial of the whole thing. She was caught at the airport with a guy by a friend of mine & she denied it & said it was just fate that he ended up going to the same place on the same plane. Anyway what action can I take? My son doesn't get any male interaction besides with me & my brother & it concerns me.

I have inches of standing water from all the rain my town has gotten. In the last two months I've gotten 20+ inches of rain. This is triple what we've usually gotten. And my backyard is flat and now it's almost completly in standing water. Its been this way for a few weeks and now that the rain is stoping, I've been able to go outside but to my dismay I have about 20,000 mosquitos everywhere. How do I kill them. Is there anyway I can do this without pesticides because I have wildlife that may be affected by this. Please Help!!

The investigation into a serious matter was blocked by Libby and now we may never know the truth .
These are crimes and regardless of how corrupt Clinton or others may have been in the past it is still the people of this country that are cheated once again .
If San Fransisco lets all its pot smokers and dealers off the hook does that mean that Miami should do the same .
What happened to the law .
I mentioned Libby getting off and people immediately started to mention Clinton .
Like that really has anything to do with this . Two wrongs do not make a right .
Two wrongs do not make a right .
Our government no longer operates in the best interests of the people .
Crimes are committed and no one pays the price .
Yet poor hard working border guards are sitting in prison and a drug dealer is out on the streets .

Talk about a double standard .

Once again ,as is all to often happening lately, I am ASHAMED of my leaders .

I've been a friend with a kind and attractive woman for a few months and still new to each other. From her observation, she knows I'm soft-spoken and a little shy when I talk to her.

It's been almost two weeks since she has been on vacation. She told me beforehand about her trip, but never told me when she was leaving nor coming back. While she was gone, I left a few messages on her cell phone asking her to call me when she arrives or has time. I left my last message this past Saturday. I know it seems annoying that I left her a few voice messages when she was on away and I feel guilty about it. I never meant for this to happen. Currently, I don't know if she's back from her trip nor if she is doing something to keep herself busy. What will her reaction be if she finds out that I left a few voice messages (to remind her to give me a call) on her phone while she was away? Will she be angry? annoyed? I'm a little puzzled and wondering if she'll speak to me when I see her.

I currently get paid 25p per mile and we recieved this email yesterday. Is this legal and can it be challenged?

Gents,

With immediate effect, can we please make sure that every expense sheet submitted has fuel receipts attached from now on - the value of which MUST be greater than what you are claiming for (ie - if you are claiming mileage expense for £25 - the fuel receipts must be greater than £25). As also highlighted by BLANK, every site/area also needs to be listed on the sheets as well!

If your expenses do not have the above items (listed or attached) then I will be unable to pay them until they are completed correctly & are compliant regarding the "tax liability" perspective.

I painted our dining room using a flat paint b/c that’s what I was told you should use in that room. Well, 3 months down the road, I now need to repaint the room b/c of the stains my 2 yrs old has made on the walls…juice box squirts, etc. My question is this. If I am painting the room the same color, just using a semi-gloss this time, do I need to prime first or just go with the semi-gloss? Thanks!!!

Internet advice links say to poor hot water, bleach or a cleaner into overflow. However, this is easier said than done since the overflow hole is small and almost vertical. I've tried a small funnel, but can't position it at an angle that it works. Any suggestions on how to accomplish this?

This is my second marriage and I have pretty much all I need as far as household items go. I really don't need towels, dishes, etc...I understand those gifts are inevitable, and I will appreciate anything my guests would care to give us...

my question is: if we don't register for gifts are our guests more likely to give money? that is what we need- we are preparing to buy a home and would be thrilled to add to our downpayment.

I would never ask for money- that is the height of tacky....

No silly answers please! :)

I'm asking because yesterday I went on a walk with a friend and her baby for nearly 2 hours and it was cold (it's winter here in Australia) but really invigorating!

Then today I went for a bike ride with my husband along a bike track near a creek (not much water in it, though. More like soggy grass!) and we saw a really cute donkey and 3 Shetland ponies on someone's property (in the middle of the suburbs!) and an old man came past on a bike and gave them carrots. It was so amazing. I think we all should get out into nature more often, because there are so many cool things to experience!

I know I sound like a hippy, but who's with me?
