I just got contact lenses. My normal prescription for glasses is -9.5 and -9.25, they gave me -8.5 for the focus day and night...but everything far away is blurry....way different than when I wear glasses.

My contacts and eyeglasses have different prescriptions also. However, I can see clearly out of both. Your contacts should not be blurry to things far away. Tell your eye doctor so he can change the strength of your contacts.

you should get contact that are the same as your glass because you are not get the deepth with that. Contact are suppose to be glass but not glass. Which means they are to correct your vision in all areas.
