The troubles in Pakistan seem quite disturbing.
Yet apparently the fundamentalists are mostly active difficult to access border regions where they murder barbers and burn dvd shops among other things.
The government seems unable to reign them in, yet the fundamentalists seem unable to win the hearts and minds of the populace in the capital.
Afghanistan has been torn apart by fundamentalism for a long time now, but the Taliban remains incredibly unpopular.
Will this sort of problem ultimately pull down more Islamic countries?
Will fundamentalist ultimately cause so much angst among muslims, that many will lose their faith as a result?
