There is not second opinion bout existence of Gods. If you do not agree why you believe the bible stories and have so many churches and mosques all over the world. It is ones faith and all the scriptures available are the proofs. May be in the course of time the incidents have been told in a different manner but all the Hindu Gods existed. No gods exist, but many people follow them, and some say they have proof that their gods but no others exist. Such a thing cannot really be proven. Your statement is rash, and does not have any base.
pl. read through the great books, ramayana, and mahabharata, with historical evidence.
there are still places, like ujjain and others, in u.p., india, with sites where the great wars were fought.
this is some thing similar to Bible, where we come across so many miracles performed by Moses and Jesus.
Modern day's superman, spidrman, harry potter, and some other movies are down right adapted from these ideas.

It is all different perception. dierent viewes of God.

I feel
Howcome you beleive in a single male, an alchoholic meat eating and died without destroying the evil as a God.

Howcome you beleive we all are from one parent? do u support incest?

Howcome you beleive earth creation story?

Howcome you beleive in a book which was not written by the God ?

Howcome you beleive three wisemen story where as no one knows about them. And who really knew about the presence of God didnt do anything to capture about his life till the age of 30

Howcome you beleie rose from dead? he is a god and he could have shown his presence to all the people?

I feel it doesnt matter who is your God! but who you are? ( Good or bad person)

So dont worry about truth/basis. just be a good person.

Forgive me if my words hurt you.
